Telatiye Resort Hotel

Very nice hotel that when you leave there you are really satisfied with the time there, nice/helpful staff who work there at the pool, the entertainment, the bar, at the reception and in the shop in the hotel, So close to the wonderful beach that belongs to them. Recommend stays. The food wonderful.

A lovely hotel, lovely food always found something to eat, only negative it needs a proper toaster. The area is perfect shops close by and Alanya about 10 minutes in taxi. Pool area lovely always got a sun bed, graduated steps for the pool would be an advantage, great kids pool and play area if you have them, beach 5 minutes away, Rooms are lovely it could do with a fridge that stays on when electric goes off softer pillows, but shower is amazing Would come back and stay here again

We are just about to travel home from this hotel. We chose the hotel because it had to be child-friendly, which it partly is, but with small children who need to sleep early, it is impossible for the incredibly loud music both from our own hotel but also from the surrounding hotels where an incredible amount of noise comes from . The room itself looks quite nice, but cleaning is very sparse, and it doesn't look like the bed linen is changed during the week, how do we know that, after all, there are stains on it already upon arrival and they have been there all week, we've only had towels changed twice and the fridge is rarely filled with water, we have to go to the reception and ask for it ourselves, it's simply too bad, especially in the heat like it is right now. The restaurant, the breakfast is okay, there is a nice selection, lunch, yes buffet which is the same pretty much every day, and when there are 15-20 minutes until they close for lunch, the waiters start turning off the air conditioning and removing the food, it is under all criticism. The evening meal is also a buffet, and pretty much the same every day, so it's not an experience either, the cakes are tasteless and the food doesn't taste great either. When I talk to the receptionist today about us being picked up at 18:45 tomorrow, he expresses that we can have our room there, but then suddenly it can't be done anyway, if it's the not-so-good English from the receptionist's side, I shouldn't be able to say that. We have traveled a lot in the hot countries and even a 3 star hotel in Egypt is far better, will we come again, NO

As a family of 5, we have just come back from an amazing 10 days here! Excellent facilities all round! The cleanliness is amazing & the maids doing the rooms were exceptional. The added touches of decorations on our beds was brilliant! The food was fantastic with a huge variety every day. Can guarantee there is always something for everyone. The beach was lovely, it is a slightly stoned beach but if you are wearing beach shoes it isn’t an issue at all! All of the staff were brilliant interacting with us adults & our children. Hassan was always up for a laugh especially! My husband was learning Turkish & every staff member embraced it & was willing to help him which was lovely. The hotel is definitely 5 star, well worth it & we will 100% be back!! Thankyou for a brilliant family holiday!

Wasn't too bad a deal for a last minute booking, the weather was still 30C was nice and warm the hotel looked nicer in some areas than others. Definitely not 5 stars though, our matress was awfull caused back pain it was comfier sleeping on the floor. We complained to reception and the cleaners put a mattress topper on didn't make a difference has this was the thinnest matress topper I'd ever seen. My partner then complained after another night we had 3 matress toppers and duvet covers and was much better. The hotel supplied us with these after our complaints without hesitation. The room was a decent size, the bathroom was beautiful. Had to pay for wifi per person never had to pay for wifi at an hotel abroad before think that's a bit ridiculous. The food was very nice in the buffet restaurant and patisserie. We stayed for 1 week and there was literally only ice cream once on an evening once. The spa was nice we paid for a package and the massage was incredible and the kids were well looked after with there chocolate facials. The entertainment guy was brilliant felt like the entertainment lacked a little until our 2nd to last night was best entertainment we had seen all week with elumination dancers. There's also a guy that comes to the hotel for the cleopatra tattoo shop he's very nice and helpful even though we didn't end up having a tattoo because where very picky of our artists he knew the area very well and recommended a nice place for shopping and restaurant. The restaurant was amazing steak out of this world service was great. He came and said hello to us everyday. The drinks aren't that great very generous with the measures but I got vodka and lemonade and tasted awful. We eventually found a drink that was bare able to drink occasionally. The bar man was very nice none of this was due to any fault of his. They do really nice cocktails which you have to pay for. The pool is by far the coldest pool I've ever been in my whole life the sea was warmer really think they need to sort this out my kids were freezing and me and my partner never wanted to get in we found ourself at the beach most of the time. Not much selection of alcohol at the beach bar at all just a draught larger. The games room man and wife are lovely and so was the cleaners tbh. I felt like most of the hotel was surrounded by male domensy little creepy at times. This was my 5th time visiting Turkey and I will most certainly not be staying at this hotel again bare minimal on offer for an all inclusive 5 star hotel never experience anything like it. If you like luxury I'd avoid as this was the worst 5 star hotel I've stayed in turkey

Good points- Housekeeping 5* these ladies work so hard, provide amazing service and are so polite and welcoming. Bad points- firstly 2 of our family members had severe food poisoning through reused food, meaning 1 spent 24 hours in bed while the other passed out on the journey home whilst being violently sick. We booked 1 standard room and 1 family room, but due to love holidays booking system we had to wait 5 days to get the family room we paid for. The desk staff and managers refused to help for 5 days I contacted love holidays myself and sorted it out, we spent 2 nights in a room I paid £250 for. The staff were rude, unhelpful and pushy. The beds were rock hard, pools including the indoor pool was freezing cold, inclusive drinks were poor, WiFi although we paid €10 (€40 in total) each for the week for it kept cutting off every time we left the hotel. The constant noise of construction coming from the opposite hotel was awful as was the evening noise from other hotels. Definitely not a relaxing and peaceful holiday. The area around the hotel was dirt with rubbish all over. It felt like inside and outside the hotel that unless you wanted to spend money they didn't care. Again very rude staff. How this hotel is rated 5* is a mystery. Ok if you want a budget, noisy and uncomfortable stay, otherwise spend your money elsewhere. Unfortunately this experience to Analya has put us of visiting Turkey again.
