I made a note of a quiet room when I made a temporary order in the morning. When I arrived at the hotel around 12 noon, a very quiet room in the corner had been arranged. There was a solo traveler next door, and the child's sofa bed had been laid out, so I checked in immediately. It's much better than the Ritz-Carlton in Samui where I stayed this time (Lizi kept asking me to wait until after 3 o'clock to check in). I enjoyed complete natural tranquility here. The villa was very private and I slept very well. In front of you is the sea, next door is the rain forest, and you can see the starry sky above, far away from the hustle and bustle. I didn't hear any voices, cars, or music! The room inspection can be improved. The sticky cups, safe and scale were all broken. It took three uncles 40 minutes to finally replace them with new ones. The little sister who cleaned the house was very serious on the first day, and the cleaning on the second day was very serious. The two of them fooled around for five minutes and enjoyed the results of the little sister's careful cleaning. But these are small things. It's great if it can meet my core requirement of quietness. I have decided to stay here again next time I come to Samui. Thank you very much to the Chinese male manager who arranged the room at the front desk!

Hi, I could not able to said all what was I got from here. It's easy to explain for what they have and actually all the facilities are visible from their photos.
Then I would like to suggested this resort to who are looking for what I got from here and the answer is --the peacefully--
Everything about my stay here exceeded my expectations. The impression of the location, the size of the area, the vastness of the resort must be described as grand. Makes feel like I have entered another world surrounded by mountains, large trees, and a beach with a wide ocean view. Big and small islands lined up in front of the rooms viewing. Everything makes you forget the chaos of everyday life. Peace of soul and true sense of nature. This is a place that everyone should come to and leave the chaos for few days.

Excellent hotel away from villages and noise. It is built on a slope, so if it is difficult for someone to overcome the steps, it is better to look at another one. We lived almost at the very top, it was ok for us, but it would probably be a little hard for older people. The only noise is from the condos, both your own and the neighbor's, they are old here and really noisy. The birds sing in the morning, it was a nice addition) although some may not like it. Breakfast is the same as everywhere else. There was enough water for us to swim, the tide was in the morning, at low tide it was really shallow, but we had enough water to swim in the morning. There is a small restaurant nearby, and in the hotel itself too. But it’s better to take a bike, otherwise a taxi to the nearest village costs 300 baht. The staff is good, they did everything they asked right away. We ate mostly at the hotel because we stayed for three days and didn’t go anywhere.

Although it is a bit far from the airport, it does not affect the good mood of this trip. The room is perfect, the environment and facilities are very good, the hotel's SPA is also good, we stayed in the hotel for two days, the restaurant food is also delicious, the service staff are very friendly. The only flaw that makes me feel there is a flaw is that during breakfast, the pregnant service staff was a bit impatient, with a gloomy face and wishing we would finish ordering quickly. On the contrary, she treated the few foreign couples who came after us with smiles. They are all here to consume, so why should they be treated differently?

Amazing resort! Couldn't Reccommend it highly enough! I see the effort of the staff every day with the fruit and water around the pool to all guests and the environment so well kept. They even provide a small treat before sleep on the bed waiting and throughout our stay the upmost care and attention to all needs of their customers. We stayed in the pool villa 2 bedroom style house and it was unbelievable. The Chinese new year spread and events were also very nice as we live in China as expats! Really wish people to pay attention to this resort! 5☆

The good: my room was very clean, modern, great condition, nicely decorated, comfortable bed, great shower, good toiletries, robes and slippers provided. Housekeeping came daily. View of the beach from room was very nice. Free shuttle to Lamai city. Some stores, bars, restaurants within walking distance plus lots more available in the city via the free shuttle. The hotel doesn’t allow lounge chairs to be reserved before a certain hour so you don’t have to worry about every seat being taken before the sun is up.
The bad: they advertise having a private beach and I paid a premium to be on the beach but this beach is disgusting. A dumping ground for plastic bottles and other trash. The hotel does seemingly nothing to maintain it. There are elevators but they go to half floors so there is no way around taking stairs which is a pain in the heat and if you have luggage. Breakfast didn’t have enough continental breakfast options - that’s just a personal preference. Also much of the breakfast buffet has no covers and there are gnats buzzing around the food. Little bugs and ants everywhere around the pool area. Pool not particularly clean.

I absolutely love this place—it feels like home. The room is spacious, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The staff are genuinely friendly and accommodating. While I’ve noticed some people complain about the breakfast variety, I think it’s perfectly fine. They offer an egg station, sausage, bread, cereal, Thai dishes with rice, a salad bar, fruit, juice, and more. Personally, I don’t eat much breakfast, so it works well for me. That said, if you’re expecting a grand breakfast spread, it might not fully meet your expectations. On top of that, they have a swimming pool and a 24-hour fitness center, which I really appreciate. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! ❤️

Don't even doubt it. This is a great hotel for a holiday with children! The beach is clean and the coastline is wide. This is important, since many hotels on Samui are simply fenced off from the beach by a concrete wall. Here is a great exit to it. Also delicious and varied breakfasts and a cool multi-level pool. The staff is super friendly to children. There is no noise from the main street and they clean well. There are shops nearby and you can walk along the beach to other cafes of your choice. We liked the Cactus cafe.

We stayed at the Samaya Wellness Resort for 7 nights. Initially we had booked for 4 nights but were so impressed by the resort that we extended.
The resort is located on a busy street but you cannot hear the traffic once you enter the resort. I’d highly recommend booking a room with a sea view as opposed to a Mountain View as the Mountain View is on the street’s side and you might be bothered by the noise.
The room was lovely, with a comfortable bed, large bathroom and a stunning balcony that overlooks one of the pools and the ocean. We were very pleased with the amenities, the service was excellent. A highlight for us was the programs they had on offer including but not limited to yoga classes and sound healing events (free for hotel guests). Alissa, Dmitri and Marco (or Marcus? 😅) facilitated amazing spaces and I’d highly recommend anyone to try out one of their classes!
The breakfast buffet was delicious and very popular. However, the restaurant itself is a little on the pricey side so we’d often find restaurants to have dinner at outside of the resort. The location of the resort is great, close to a number of restaurants, a 7/11 and many laundry places.
I’d definitely stay here again.

Outstanding
VViktorLocation: you need to immediately understand that you will need transport. There are a couple of cafes within walking distance, but we didn’t go to them, there weren’t many people there either, except that a couple of times we saw a few farangs having breakfast. Report offers delivery to and from the beach during certain hours. I don’t remember the price: either free, or for a symbolic fee, very low. They also offered to order breakfast and have it delivered to your villa: it’s certainly more expensive than in a regular cafe, but still affordable. We did not use this service, since we would have to plan breakfast time in advance (why?). The beach... we stayed during the daytime low tides, so I can’t say anything good about the sea, but the beach itself is clean and almost deserted.
Surprises: we booked a villa with three bedrooms and a living room + a swimming pool. When looking at the photos of the rooms (at the time of booking), I could not understand the location of the room and also could not understand the privacy of the pool. Will the pool be ours alone or will it have to be shared with guests from some other villa. I even looked around on Google Maps, but still didn’t fully understand it. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised that this very villa consists of two separate houses between which there is a swimming pool (not small, but medium in size). One house consists of two bedrooms with separate entrances and separate bathrooms, and the other house consists of a huge living room, dining room, kitchen and bedroom + 2 bathrooms. Grandiose! Another patio.
Of the minuses: not very stable wi-fi, TV is brooding. That's all. Air conditioners also do not cool as quickly as we would like, but this is the fault of the building design. A huge area of glazing which is made of single wood. If in the future we install normal aluminum structures with double-glazed windows, it will be possible to achieve a better effect from air conditioners + save on electricity and improve sound insulation. However, air conditioners do their job quite well. It was almost always quiet.
Overall everything is ok. This place is worth the money. The owner, Lana, is very friendly and speaks perfect Russian.
GGunshotSinistaThe hotel has excellent service particularly in reception where they will do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The restaurant although is lacking in quality other than the breathtaking view of the island it doesn’t have food to compliment it. My girlfriend got really sick after eating the tom yum goong shrimp where she was bedridden and had to puke multiple times. The breakfast buffet also does not offer much for a 5 star resort and is very basic. Overall this is a great stay if you are a couple, the highlights of the mantra samui is the breathtaking view and the infinity pool and gym also the rooms which are spacious and clean.
The lowlights are the restaurant and the location which makes it hard to get out of the resort unless you have a rental car.
GGuest UserWe stayed at the Garrya Tongsai for 4 nights as part of a relaxation trip. The property is located along a hill with most room balconies facing towards the sea. The property has a good green cover and provides amazing views of the bay. The staff were always smiling and ready to help.
Things that were a bit disappointing for the property.
The private beach is just pebbles and no sand. During our entire stay, we went to the resort beach only on the first day. Rest of the time, we went outside to the nearby Choengmon beach which is nice and quiet with a sandy beach and great to swim. Also, the pools feel a bit dated compared to other resorts.
The rooms were ok but felt slightly small. Not the fanciest but acceptable. Also, the tub is placed on the balcony and fully visible from the pool. Not a big problem, but please keep in mind. We told the staff and after a bit back and forth, they put up a screen to give some privacy.
The breakfast, we felt had limited options and the spread did not change much during our stay. The options, especially the local Thai food was lacking any spice or flavour. Also, the fresh fruit lacked much flavours - maybe due to seasonal variations. However, the staff was very friendly and cared for us well.
Also, one thing to consider - the property is located on a hill and getting around requires buggies which hotel staff are happily able to provide. However, we felt that it prevented us from being too independent. Also, we had rented a car and the parking is a bit far away.
We spent most of the time outside the property as we did not feel that our needs were met by the resort and had to depend On going outside for beach, food etc. Please note that we had already stayed elsewhere for the first half and had hoped for a resort vacation during the final 4 nights which we did not get. A bit disappointed overall.
GGuest UserThe staff at Dara Samui make a good hotel great! The location is super walkable and the Northern Thai design style is relaxing and beautiful. The beach is lovely although it is often just a meter or so of sand when the tide is high. Breakfast was good and the selection varied each day. I enjoyed the bath tub and the sun loungers for relaxation. The only thing that needs improving are the beds. They need to be upgraded to ensure a comfortable nights sleep for guests.
AAA perfect staycation! You literally got everything you need in the resort for 3 days of activities and chill - pools , snorkeling, stand up paddle boarding, yoga and more! Best resort experience ever.
The exchange of exclusivity is this resort is distance away from the main road and busy districts, but the shuttle service or grab will get you to wherever you want to go ( p.s. transportation is expensive in Koh Samui
GGuest UserMy recent stay at Cape Fahn Hotel, Koh Samui, was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I arrived on the private island, I was enveloped in a world of luxury, tranquility, and unparalleled beauty.
The resort’s location is simply breathtaking. Situated on a secluded island off the coast of Koh Samui, Cape Fahn offers a level of privacy and exclusivity that is unmatched. Accessible only by boat, the journey to the island sets the tone for an unforgettable escape from the ordinary.
Upon arrival, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a refreshing welcome drink. The staff’s attention to detail was evident throughout my stay, from the seamless check-in process to the thoughtful gestures that made me feel like a valued guest.
My villa exceeded all expectations. Perched on the edge of the azure sea, it offered panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding islands. The interior design was elegant and refined, with every amenity imaginable to ensure a comfortable and luxurious stay. The private infinity pool and spacious terrace provided the perfect setting for relaxation and contemplation.
Dining at Cape Fahn was a culinary delight. The resort’s restaurants served a variety of gourmet dishes inspired by local flavors, each prepared with precision and creativity. Whether enjoying a romantic dinner under the stars or a leisurely lunch by the pool, every meal was a feast for the senses.
The resort’s facilities were equally impressive. From the infinity-edge swimming pool to the state-of-the-art fitness center, there was no shortage of ways to unwind and rejuvenate. I particularly enjoyed the spa, where I indulged in a blissful massage overlooking the ocean, leaving me feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
Overall, my experience at Cape Fahn Hotel, Koh Samui, surpassed all expectations. It’s a sanctuary of luxury and serenity, where every moment is cherished and every need is anticipated. I can’t wait to return to this hidden gem in paradise.
GGuest UserVery good location. Beach and water clean with a lot of fish. Always available sun beds at the Beach and at the pools. Breakfast is very good. Like all the fresh fruit.
We would like to come back.
SShanreviewAccommodation by the sea, inexpensive, beautiful view, rooms with smart TV Netflix, youtube, very cool air conditioner. The room is very overpriced. But there is no breakfast here. In front of the hotel there is also a bar to sit and chill every day, very convenient.
DDavid CastaNO THANK YOU NO PRIVACY
grims very good hot water good air condition excellent but no privacy curtains rooms two meters across and you do need blinds closed 24 hour.
hotel also sell beach lounges to externals so hard to get one.
privacy curtains are must at this hotel
戴戴The room is very nice. You can see the pool and the sea. The four-drilled hotel in Thailand seems to have a common problem. The above part of the room, such as the table top, the bedside will not be cleaned as long as the air conditioner is empty. Breathing room found a worm two big spiders toilet floor ant hotel is the most terrible is breakfast I have never seen so many flies breakfast from small to large, some of the open-side food at the poolside is not covered with plastic wrap and flies directly You have to keep looking at your own dish, or you have to keep an eye on your own dish. Otherwise, the sliced bread is placed on a shelf against the wall. It is easy to see that the ants are too disgusting to run. There are many flies in the room. The ants are too collapsed. There are only one or two waiters in the room. There is no smile. No smile may be because they are more tired.
