Three Trees Samui Resort - Sarocha Villa

We stayed at the Three Trees resort for 4 days as we were in Koh Samui for a wedding. The staff were so attentive and helpful - even finding us a room for an extra night as we arrived early due to flight changes. The food and drinks were fresh and really tasty, as well as great value for money. I would recommend the pad Thai and mango smoothie! The rooms were clean although a little bit tatty in places. The views were wonderful and the resort was great value for money. There is a pool and beach access as well as free paddle boarding.

Expectations were exceeded. Very good size bungalow on first row facing the sea. Attached small kitchen. Good bed and pillows. Good air con, wifi and hot water. Kettle and coffee provided. Beach towels and shower towels provide. Shampoo and soap. Large terrace/balcony on my bungalow. Quiet resort. A little out of town (10 minute walk to 7-11, restaurants). Sun loungers behind sea wall. Very small beach area for swimming. Good food prices in restaurant. Good breakfast.

fantastic Bungalows which are equipped with everything you need. directly at the beach. they provide you with snorkeling equipment , kayak or standup paddle boards. They also have good scooters for rent (very cheap). Location is nice and good for relaxing.

I stayed here for 5 nights and I was very pleased with everything the resort had to offer.The beach front resort was simple and nicely designed with a reasonable size nice swimming pool. There were loungers available and a beach front restaurant and bar was open for various refreshments and food was nice in a large portion with reasonable price. The beach was always on a low tides but still good for a swim. My room was a nice size and there was a large bed which was very comfortable, inside the wardrobe there is a safe deposit box, umbrella, fridge and all necessary. Bathroom was a good size with good shower. Everything was clean and nicely laid out and refreshed every day. I did have evening meals in the restaurant and they were tasty and there was a reasonable selection in their menu. The hotel site is in a fairly quiet area as you would need to get a ride or about 10 mins walk to the nearest minimart store. But there is a night food market every evening just opposite the resort, lots of Thai local eats with cheap price. Thanks to all the nice and caring staff thats make my holiday a good one. Love to be back.

Good value for money. Not a flash resort by any means, but rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels, bottled water tea, coffee etc. Basic facilities including a small pool and deck chairs, small restaurant/bar right on the beach. Beach is small, and water always shallow in this area, even at high tide. But the staff are lovely and friendly, and unless you plan on staying here all day, every day, this has all you need for basic comfort. 20 minute walk to busy bar, restaurant, market area at Lamai and several restaurants within a 5 min walk. At around $50 aud per night, you can't go wrong.

Having read the hotel reviews before arriving we were excited to stay here, however we were really disappointed by a few things at three trees. The room was nice, the first night of our stay hundreds of flies entered the room, lovely lady at reception was helpful in fixing this issue for us but wasn't acceptable as a paying guest to have this happen there were hundreds of flies which even got into our luggage. we weren't offered as much as a free drink after this happening. The general atmosphere of the hotel was so poor it's far from everything so don't expect a buzz at the "beachfront" where it is located, it feels so isolated soulless at the property. Restaurant is way overpriced with extremely mediocre food. The area itself feels like you are missing out on what the island actually has to offer, if you’re looking for a very quiet get away this would be perfect.
