The hotel is located far from everything. The staff is nice, but the facilities are a bit outdated.

During my recent stay at The Sea,I was thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. The hotel offered a perfect balance of comfort, cleanliness, and excellent service that made my trip truly memorable. The room exceeded my expectations. It was spacious, and modern with thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a long day of travel. The view from the window, overlooking the sea was a delightful bonus. The location was another highlight—it was conveniently close to Michelin Thai restaurants, less crowded and close to the beach. The resort’s vibe is fantastic, and yet quiet enough for a peaceful retreat. The only minor drawback was hotel facilities is old and technically you can’t used them during your stay. Overall, The Sea provided an exceptional experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, relax and peaceful retreat and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

I spent 4 nights at The Sea Koh Samui. Staff are really friendly, professional and so polite. Room was big and clean. A bit old but it’s fine. I really enjoy my stay here. I’d definitely come back here again!

The room and nice and services excellent. Limited choices for breakfast

Good location with beautiful beach, good facilities in the room, spacious room, staffs are very polite and friendly

The hotel is a bit far from the other rush areas in Koh Samui but with beautiful beach the service and the staff are very friendly. the rooms are clean but needs some refreshments and renew.

Initially lovely, beautiful hotel and staff but it's showing its age. Basic breakfast, maintenance is slipping. We had the tap water run brown for 30min thankfully it got fixed. Location is great to lie on the beach but it's in between places.

Amazing stayed an extra night

Sea is clean, beach quiet. Service is very good, location a bit far from villages, but can order taxi or rent a bike

The managers at the reception are great, the rest of the staff - especially the man in the restaurant, are awful. They make faces behind the guests' backs, laugh at their English, although they themselves have mistakes in the menu. The hotel is beautiful in the pictures, but in real life it is not impressive at all. Of all, I liked the manager, the guy and the girl at the reception and the beach. The beach is beautiful. But the staff ruined both the evening and the morning.

It is very close to the beach. When you open the window, you can see the sea view. Sitting on the balcony and reading a book while enjoying the sea breeze and the sea view, you will feel very quiet. If you like Chaweng or Lamai, this hotel is not very suitable. It is far from these two places, but the distance to the Fisherman's Village Night Market is OK, because you will definitely pass by the Fisherman's Village Night Market when you go to Chaweng Beach. There are no shops near the hotel, not many massage shops, and not many restaurant options. If you like quietness, this hotel is pretty good.

Everything is good, even the reception staff. There is a kitchen in the room for cooking. Importantly, there is a washing machine and a dryer in the room. The only downside is that the breakfast is a bit lacking.

Good location, a bit far

Good hotel. Expensive. But if it’s not in season, it’s worth the money.
