Am Samui resort is a quiet and peaceful accommodation with a nice, quiet beach to walk along and a restaurant with good food. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The bungalow we had to switch to, as the AC didn't work in the first one, was very good - a comfortable bed, good AC and a fridge, cleaning every day and refilling of water bottles, tea and coffee. Nice view of the sea, close to sunbeds. Thai massage can be booked at short notice. The pool is good. This is a quiet place overall with little traffic, few people, few stray dogs, no crowds whatsoever, no beach vendors, no hustle and bustle! Lovely! It's easy to walk or go by a scooter to 7/11 and other restaurants nearby, or to travel by taxi to other places on the island for shopping, excursions and activities, more restaurants, more beaches. Very good yoga classes are available a few minutes' walk away, at Marga yoga. Also more good restaurants. I highly recommend Am samui resort on the west coast of Koh Samui.

Room was the one we booked, there was a wedding till 02:30am which we did not sleep and power cut of more than 4hrs shich we did not sleep u til 4am. Was a complete disaster experience with all guests complaining about the excessive noise and no sleep.

I lost my usb key in the room and the staff don’t seem to care about it. The receptionist is not friendly to asian tourist. The beach is dirty because there is a river beside that is not clean at all Food is overpricing. Motorbike is not well mentained The boy who serve the food is untidy.

I chose this place because of the relative remoteness and beauty. If you want nightlife and markets this is not the place. However, if you want to relax away from busy tourist areas this resort is terrific. It was also a pleasant surprise to find horse-riding which I really enjoyed. (Make sure you book horse riding at a time that is not high tide.) The food is great value and there are good alternative options within walking distance. There are a couple of things that could be improved but I had the pleasure of meeting the new owner Matt and management team and I am sure that they will make this place even better and really capitalize on the location. I loved my stay here - which was quite long.

The bungalows look nice and the bed and pillows are comfortable. I found the food to be insufficient and overpriced (small salad was 200 baht) and the staff not as service oriented or understanding of guests as they could have been. The included al acarte breakfast was meager, with the fruit consisting of a few slices of watermelon and pineapple. A small banana was an extra charge, I was told. For someone spending a few thousand baht per night, I found this off-putting and money grubbing, leading me to dislike being there, so I did not continue for additional nights. Feeling appreciated as a guest is important. Providing a banana w a cost of maybe 1 or 2 baht when asked would make a guest feel that the staff cares about their happiness without needing to make more profit. Also the ocean is not swimmable here…the tide is way out and the area pretty rocky.

The best resort we have ever stay in. We liked everything here, the sea view, the room, the staff attitude, the food were excellent. It's one of the best Thai massage here on the beach. Always available the car or bike for rent. We will sure come back here again. Thank you guys for everything!

We have stayed in this hotel for two nights. Firstly, we really liked the bungalow that we had however few things were not on spot. The shower was not a memorable experience, the plugs located into the wardrobe was not the most suitable location for having your phone charged, Internet Wi-Fi does not exist, but the most important thing is the professionalism of the staff, English must be mandatory when works in an hospitality jobs and we had really many trouble in getting the most basic information about tours and things to do into the area (and believe me there are not so many). Also, the place looked really empty, the beach was not memorable like the restaurant, and after 9 pm everything is completely left in the darkness, there is literally nobody around and all lights are totally shut. I do understand that if I want to be in the middle of the buzz, this place might no be suitable but at least keep the lights on. The best thing were the stray dogs around, they were simply adorable. I’ll strongly recommend to rent a bike otherwise

During my recent visit to the beach, I had the opportunity to observe the beach trail rides the resort offers. While the picturesque setting was captivating, my heart sank witnessing the treatment of the horses involved. The horses seemed visibly strained, with signs of discomfort. They where beated and stressed out. As animal lovers, it's our responsibility to prioritize the welfare of these noble creatures that provide us with such memorable experiences. I hope that this stable reevaluates its practices and places a stronger emphasis on the proper treatment of their horses.

It is an amazing place. Quiet, clean , nice beach and very very nice staf . We were in a very nice beach cottage close to the sea. We stay here a week because so beautiful here. And very important not expencive at all. This part of koh Samui not touristic at all.
