Koh Jum Delight Beach

Absolut Fantastisch! Super Mitarbeiter, tolle Lage, sehr schönes Zimmer, sogar mit Pool! Besser geht's nicht auf Koh Jum!

Heerlijk relaxt met het beste strand.

Let me start by saying that this place is amazing. Beautiful beach, nice bungalows and a beautiful sunset to see. So why I still rate this as a terrible experience for me? I have severely allergic reactions to shellfish, so bad that cross contamination is also deadly for me. A good friend of me who is Thai wrote that on my phone and everywhere I went in Thailand I’ve showed it and everywhere, for more then 2 weeks, everything went well. Till my first evening here. As usual I showed them the writing and they said they understood. But instinctively I knew they didn’t. When my vegetarian pad Thai came my friend again asked the waitress, are you sure this is safe for her to eat. Yes.. was the answer. Till my first bite. My throat immediately swollen up and I ended up in the ER. Next day I talked to the manager and tried to explain again how important it is to use clean gear and stuff. He said he would talk to the kitchen and let them know. I only have breakfast at the hotel so today, 3 days later, I have a scrambled egg (there is not much more for me to eat here) and when I finished I noticed that breathing gets heavier and throat gets swollen again. While I was puking at the toilet, they just stood there and watched. After using my epipen no one even comes to check if they can do anything. It’s a beautiful place, but just don’t go there if you have allergies that are so serious or when you don’t speak Thai.

We planned a one nighter on Koh Jum and picked this idyllic spot. Great accommodation. And on a perfect beach with hardly anyone else around. We also ate in the restaurant for our stay and every meal was delicious- service a bit slow to come to the table but that was the only negative ...other than foolishly only staying one night. Get here for a few days and let's the peace and quiet take over.

Замечательный отель! Только положительные эмоции с самого начала. Мы добирались от аэропорта Пхукет на такси через приложение Grab, затем на лодке от Laem Kruat pear. Представитель связался до заезда и организовал трансфер от пирса на машине отеля. Местоположение отеля очень удачное. Во первых это тихий остров, здесь нет толп торговцев, сюда не привозят экскурсии сотни лодок. Здесь тихо и спокойно. Свой песчаный пляж, который чистят. Даже в максимальный отлив не надо беспокоиться о камнях или кораллах. При этом место для сноркелинга можно найти. Пусть это не Красное море, но камни с кораллами и рыбками можно найти рядом. Территория отеля почти вся под тенью больших деревьев. Дорога до ресторана Drift Wood освещается. Можно вечером прогуляться и поужинать там для разнообразия. Мы остановились в стандартном бунгало. Площадь не большая, но вполне комфортно. Зачем хоромы для отдыха на райском острове? Большую часть времени проводишь на открытом воздухе. Важно наличие кондиционера, удобной кровати. В отеле имеются несколько мотоциклов для сдачи в аренду. Я предпочитаю велосипед. Для исследования острова я брал его в аренду в деревне. Надо сказать о доброжелательности и отзывчивости персонала отеля. Очень хорошо, что в "Стране тысячи улыбок" это норма.

Wir reisten um 12 Uhr an und mussten noch auf das Zimmer warten was erst mal nicht tragisch ist. Doch das Zimmer war am Ende erst ab 17 Uhr beziehbar und in einem der Bungalows funktionierte die Dusche erst ab 21 Uhr. Das Personal ist jedoch sehr höflich und nett, die Anlage liegt direkt an einem sehr schönen unendlich langen Strand, der fast wie ausgestorben wirkt zu mancher Tageszeit. Direkt neben an, gibt es eine Beach Bar (Cocktails sind so semi gut). Vom Strand könnte man bei klarem Himmel, einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang erleben aber uns blieb er verwehrt. Das Frühstück war inbegriffen und mit relativ großer Auswahl für jeden Geschmack. Es gibt einen Pool direkt am Hintereingang der gepflegt wird. Wir würden wieder kommen, allein weil die Insel noch sehr unberührt ist.
