Ulasan Tawaen Beach Resort

They charged us 500 baht for snorkelling, claiming to bring us to an off shore island, while it’s the same as the others which only charge 300 baht. Also the check out time is wrong. Trip.com says it’s 11:30 but when we arrived they say it’s been changed to 11. Also the noise is a huge issue especially for late night and early morning.

Simple but spacious rooms. Nice staff. Breakfast was ok. Towels were pretty dirty

The room was clean and fresh, located on the second floor. There was a water boiler, but no coffee and no cups!! Spacious room, soft bed and very good bathroom. Unfortunately too close to the street where people were throwing firecrackers until 1.30 in the night, because we were there during Loy Krathong. Only 300 baht for renting a motorcycle and the seats on the beach were free. The breakfast was very poor and there was a toaster which nobody knew how to manage. The staff didn't help either. There is a shuttle bus to the ferry boat, which can pick you up too if you call the hotel in advance.

Is not worth the price, the only good thing is the location, the service look like you are bothering them, they speak Chinese but not English (just a little), the breakfast it’s only from 8 to 10 and they give you only 2 low quality saussage minion and 2 eggs, coffee and drinks are only sachet drinks, they don’t make anything, buy and serve by yourself

Service is great, receptionist does English. The room is good, with fan, conditioner, large fridge. The location is exceptional and it can't be stressed enough, about 15 metres from the sea during the tide. The chairs on the beach are free, but the sun loungers are 200 baht - I suggest shopping around, there are cheaper options right next to it. The only negative is non-existent soundproofing. Walls are thin, the door is a sliding flimsy one made of glass, and the music is always booming outside until 10 PM. You WILL hear it and everything your neighbours are taking about, earplugs and sleeping mask are mandatory.

Awesome. Everyone was super nice and helpful, and it was the most relaxing spot on that busy strip of road. Definitely recommended to any family

Hotel was clean. Our concern initially was the sliding door. But it was not so bad. Hotel is a walking distance from the jetty. Only downside is, it’s hard to converse as they barely speaks English. A little noisy at night cos of the nearby restaurant but it’s bearable. Beach is just outside the hotel and they provide chairs by the beach. We had a good 2 night stays. Oh, and don’t expect too much from their breakfast. Cos it was the same for the 2 days. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

Awesome location! Remember to contact the hotel for a pick up from the ferry pier, otherwise you will have to walk for like 10-15mins under the hot sun. Hotel Service was great, helpful and lovely. At night you could hangout on the beach without worrying too sleepy to drive motorcycle back to your hotel because it is just right behind you! Breakfast was OK, but the fact that you enjoy your meal facing the beach was a highlight to this hotel.

Property is right on the beach with clean rooms . Checkout time is 11 which is little early.

I had a good time in here. All of staffs are kind. Good service.

Worst hospitality I have ever seen.. they even ask money to clean their own tables. And the complimentary breakfast was closed before the time allotted.. when asked about it they replied you have to order the breakfast..
