Staff most accommodating, no lift, but they were able to change our room to the ground floor. Lovely decor, spotless. Good bar menu and breakfast. Parking easy. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Hotel bedroom was very clean as was the bathroom,adequate for what we needed 1 night stay. Hotel its self is very tired and is in a desperate need of a good lick of paint. we did not eat at this establishment so can't comment. One member of staff was really very rude to my husband he seemed to have an attitude problem. Not welcoming at all. We would not return there is no excuse for bad manners.

Greswolde Arms Hotel We stayed here as it is very local to my sisters and were up for a family Christmas and we were not disappointed. We were welcomed and everything was polite and friendly. The room was well presented and there were even chocolates waiting for us. Plus a fully stocked coffee/tea/hot chocolate and biscuits. The ensuite had a wonderful shower plus clean fluffy towels and a heated towel rail with shower gel/soap. The heating was on and it was very warm when we arrived, so we turned it off and would have been better to have left on a low setting as it was slightly chilly in the morning. We had breakfast and this was a lovely cooked meal with also cold buffet with pastries and cereals. The room was clean and whole visit was welcoming and we will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Nice, but shocking service at breakfast. It's a nice place - the room was very good - and enjoyed a good meal in the evening. However, the service at breakfast was shocking - very poor indeed. I came into the bar from the hotel (so it's obvious I stayed) - and thanked like I was leaving - rather than directed to breakfast. A 'wait here' board - with no one in sight - so I find a table. No glasses for OJ - so I ask at the bar. No one takes my order - I go to the bar. I go to get a cup of tea - no cups - I go to the bar. The morning service seemed like they were caught napping - their manager needs to go see for themselves, and HO need to send a mystery shopper in....!

Had to wait ages to check in, bar staff were just looking at me! Had to ask for someone to check me in. Paid for breakfast but couldn’t find anyone to greet me for breakfast so just ended up leaving. Nice hotel / pub facilities just a lack of staff

Great find Stayed here a good number of times and always enjoyed our stay. Food is always decent albeit pub style grub, restaurant can get busy so worth booking a table, very easy to do on the app. Staff always polite and extremely helpful. Rooms are a good size and always clean and well presented. Bar area is usually pretty busy every evening but has a great atmosphere.

Excellent value. Great place to stay. Nicely updated old hotel/pub that gives you old English character with modern amenities. Small hotel (＜35 rooms), but the rooms are a nice size and the decor throughout is warm and comfortable. Pub includes a beautiful bar and a large dining area. Only ate breakfast there, but it was great and worth paying extra to get it included. Employees were friendly and went out of their way to meet our needs. Great location. Only knock I would have was that my bed was a bit firmer than I prefer, but it was still comfortable.
