Although the building was old, I think it was a good value hotel. The room was well-cleaned, so it was enough for a night's sleep.
The walls were thin, so the noise from the next room was sometimes bothersome.
The hotel had a wide range of amenities, such as bath salts and face packs, which was nice.

It was a bit far from Kokura Station, but the monorail was nearby, so it wasn't too far to walk!
The facility was old, so the rooms weren't very clean, but it wasn't bad for the price~
There were a lot of convenience stores nearby, and there was a Don Quijote and a mart if you walked a little, so it was convenient for shopping!

Even if you can't do the room, the space is very large than you think, so you have to stay more than four people. We were two, so we thought we were scared to die when we went to pee at night. Inside, it's clean, except for some dead bugs in the light bulb. For reference, there's Dyson. However, most of the other ryokan have luggage transfer services, but you have to move here directly, and it is expensive for a ryokan where there is no hot spring. Still, the garden view is more beautiful than expected! The photos are also very good. The courtyard here is more beautiful than the Kokura courtyard

It's less than a 15-minute walk from Kokura Station, so the walk wasn't too difficult. There are restaurants nearby and two convenience stores nearby. The building is old and worn. The bathroom in the room was a unit bath, and when I opened the door, I could smell sweat. The large public bath wasn't that big, but it was nice to be able to stretch my legs out and relax in it. Amenities were also provided. It was nice that there was Febreze and an extension cord in the room. Breakfast was 1200 yen and the mentaiko and ramen were very delicious. Breakfast starts at 6:30, but it seemed like it was open a little earlier.
It was convenient for just staying overnight, and the breakfast was delicious, so it was good.

I stayed here for one night for a short trip to Kitakyushu before going to Hakata Station
Overall, it was a hotel with an old-fashioned feel
The atmosphere was good
The interior of the room was small, but the design had a grandmotherly feel:)
Personally, I liked it and it was cozyㅎㅎ
They also had a lot of walks in the garden
When I went, there was a wedding going on, so it was fun to watch the Japanese guests
By the way, it's far from the station... It was hard to carry my suitcase
However, considering the price of the accommodation, it's not bad! If I go to Kokura, I'll stay here again

The hotel is at a prime location, close to the Kokura station, shopping malls, Kokura Castle, Tanga market, streets of bars…and there are two convenient stores downstairs so you don’t need to worry about getting hungry at midnight.
The price is reasonable and the facilities are sufficient.
The fact that staff still don’t speak much English makes it hard to be internationally welcoming.

JR Kokura Station is about 10 minutes walk away, and it is easy to find. If you really don't want to walk, the light rail station is right in front of the hotel, and it takes 100 yen to get to Kokura Station.
The front desk is on the second floor and feels a bit old. But the room feels bigger than most Japanese hotels. There is also free breakfast. Overall, it is a pleasant surprise to stay in this hotel at this price.

First of all, it's a 5-minute walk from Kokura Station when you don't have luggage, and a 10-minute walk when you do, so it's a little slow. This time, 3 people used one room, and the room was very spacious and the bathroom was also spacious and nice, including the bathtub! The bedding and other things were okay, but there was a small balloon left under the bed for some reason. And one inconvenient thing is that we used it for 3 nights and 4 days this time, and when we asked for a towel change using the check-in tablet, they said that they would only change it once per 4 nights, and they said that they wouldn't change it. There's a coin laundry on the first floor, so you can wash your towels there and dry them, or take your own! Or, when you see the cleaning staff walking around the hallway, ask them to change them for you. They'll change them anyway! Other than that, it was okay.

GGuest UserHotel was located right next to the airport with free shuttles only taking a few minutes. Good sunsets from the airport island. The hotel even offered a free dinner! Simple curry and rice but a nice surprise. I don't think you can find a better deal which includes full board. Not much around the area but this just gets you close to the airport for early departures. Very good smaller airport. I enjoyed flying out from here much more than Fukuoka. Fukuoka airport has a lot of construction going on. Getting to the airport via public transportation does require a metro ticket and a bus transfer.

GGuest UserStayed on the 27th floor. Every 3-5 minutes, there is a 10-15 seconds of strange noise. reported to the hotel, they blame the lift for the noises. Unfortunately, the very disturbing noise appeared throughout our stay including very late at night.

SSubdubAll the staff were nice and friendly. They lended me an umbrella since it was raining on the first day. The room was fairly clean and spacious enough for one person. The location was very good, only 1-2 min walk away from the Kokura station. Free breakfast was okay.

헤헤헤헤헿I stayed alone, and it was right in front of Kokura Station, so the location was really great. As is typical of Japanese hotels, the rooms are small, and the bathroom was especially small. There was no problem when I used it alone, and it was great because it had TV and YouTube. I want to go there again next time I visit Kitakyushu.

GGuest UserLocation is walkable from the JR station, surrounding malls and tourist spots, while not being in the centre of it all, making it a quiet and comfortable stay. There are many buses nearby so taking the bus instead of train was a good option to have. Walking distance can also be reduced sometimes via taking the bus. At the same time, the airport bus is at the JR station, so it was very convenient. The hotel while a little dated, is well maintained with floors segregated by non-smoking and smoking. Luggage deposit before and after is also available and the staff are very helpful with that. The bedside console comes with an alarm clock and even a music player where ambience music can be played - it is a very nice touch to have!!

GGuest UserThough location is a little far but the free shuttle bus to and fro Orio station made is super convenient for an onsen retreat. There's a direct bus from Kitakyushu Airport to Orio station too, which makes it even better. Thankfully, the staff kindly took note of the shuttle reservation request made during booking, otherwise, it would have been very inconvenient to contact them and expensive to get to the resort by other means. They left a note to check the official website for pick-up point but there was no specific information - something that can be improved. The location was found to be BEHIND Maxvalue Shop (see first few photos). The resort is visited by mainly locals so it was helpful to see and ask them for confirmation.
Facilities might a bit old but generally clean so it was okay. The room is nice and comfortable, particularly the view. It was very nice to see the hotel using reusable wares with even a refillable jug to get water from a machine at the shared space. Both sides of the natural onsen is switched between male and female everyday. Supper tantan noodles is great! Breakfast is not bad with both fusion western style and traditional Japanese options. It was a very nice and relaxing time!

Ssai HyaIn conclusion, it was the best accommodation for this trip, but there were several issues.
Obviously, there is a luggage storage service in the accommodation service, but when I arrived, it was operated unmanned and I couldn't get any service. It's ridiculous to start your journey with your luggage.
And there was an issue in my room where the door lock didn't work, and I was able to solve this problem in an hour through a conversation with the manager. (The door wasn't closed tight, so I had to push it with strength.)
The room was in the best condition and everything in the bathroom and toilet was good. There were some inconveniences, but I told the master well and said that he would fix it, so I think it will be a better hotel.
