Mare Paphos

My husband and I had a brilliant time at the Mare. The hotel was modern and clean. We went all inclusive. The food and drink were great with plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and worked hard. Anna made amazing mojitos at the quiet pool bar. We were very impressed by the entertainment. DJ Marcus’ disco night and the Cypriot dancers were the highlight but to be honest we enjoyed it all. We particularly enjoyed the yoga sessions on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. The spa was out of this world. We definitely plan to visit again. Not all the bars were open when we went. We swam in the sea most days and hopefully next time we can visit the bar next to the small beach.

We are delighted with this place. The entire staff deserves special praise; everyone is helpful and always ready with a smile. The grounds are beautiful, offering something for everyone to enjoy. The food is delicious, the waitstaff are wonderful, and the restaurants are high-quality with excellent drinks. There’s a bus stop near the hotel, making it easy to explore the area. Rooms are cleaned regularly. We highly recommend this place :)

I had such a lovely time at this stunning villa/hotel. First of i have to thank Helena, the patience and care you showed me in making sure my son and i were well accommodated for was touching. My 4 year old son is autistic & has adhd so it can be extremely difficult travelling with him & taking him out anywhere. Helena took my requests on board that was discussed prior via email and placed us in a perfect room location (also thank you for putting us in the upgraded room from the beginning, saved us having to change rooms when my mum joined us on our holiday). The hotel rooms were so clean! It was beautiful, the views, the different lounge areas, the food! It was all 10/10! I really hope im writing her name correctly karina or kare? In guest relations thank you so much for taking on my concern about the aircon in the room & getting it sorted for me in a timely manner and also coming back to check on us to see how we were all doing, i appreciate the care and support that my family & I were shown. I always love going to a spa when im on holiday and this hotels spa did not disappoint. They had a lovely indoor pool with jacuzzi, and my massage was outstanding! THE BEST MASSAGE I have had in a loong time, my body definitely needed it! Their male therapist (sorry im really bad with names) did such an outstanding job thank you so much! I would highly recommend this hotel, the staff were amazing, helpful & caring. Hotel was so lovely and clean! The food was amazing, from the snack bars to the restaurants, fun local kid friendly places to take my son. He absolutely loved this hotel and his stay, he cried when we left and thats big for him! Lovely clean hotel. Grounds kept tidy. We had a family swim up room near to the quiet pool wich was perfect for our needs. Fluffy towels and robes in the room, and Elemis toiletries. Fridge had 2 bottles of water in and we reused them every day to refill in the restaurant. Hairdryer wasn't in the bathroom. Food was excellent so much choice and no repetition. We also went to the Green and Grill specialty restaurant that was great too. We went to the After Dark bar and watched an illusionist who was very good. It is a hotel full of kids, but that's why we went. WiFi great, plenty of staff and we found it to be a very English atmosphere. Great shout to Anna at the pool bar, she was busy all day and always found time to talk xx A couple of negatives. Gym had no water or towels. Pool absolutely freezing 🥶 To keep our room for the afternoon would have cost €150 don't bother as there are lovely clean showers at both pools, perfect!

Spa review - Anna was very good in the spa she gave me a really relaxing massage and facial, also gave me some aloe cream for my red skin. I would recommend the spa for anyone looking to loosen up after a long travel or couples looking to unwind before bedtime or dinner.
