The smell of hot springs is everywhere within a few kilometers of the hotel, and it is even stronger in the room. I suggest friends who don’t know what hot springs smell like to choose carefully. However, the hotel provides breakfast and dinner, and the food is quite rich.

All the hotel staff were very polite and kind. The rooms were spacious, clean, well-equipped, and well-furnished, and the beds were comfortable. Coffee beans and grinders were provided, so I was able to enjoy freshly brewed coffee in the morning. I was also able to rent a private bath twice, and although it was cold when I got out of the open-air bath, I was captivated by the beautiful garden view, and the water temperature was just right, so I was able to warm up quickly. The only disappointment was the attitude of the staff at the shop. First, there were no baskets, so when I asked for one, they said ”Please wait a moment” in a slightly irritated tone. Thankfully, a customer next to me who had just finished purchasing couldn't bear to see me and gave me his own basket. Also, there was no sign of a self-checkout, so when I was waiting for a staff member to pay, he coldly told me, ”It's a self-checkout.” This was a bit disappointing.

It was a pleasant surprise. It was snowing, and it was wonderful to soak in the hot spring in the snow. The meal was also good. The dinners were different for two nights, which was considered for the guests. The hotel has its own hiking root, and you can see the waterfall when you walk over. The overall feeling is great.

As soon as we got out of the car in the parking lot, a staff member greeted us and showed us around. There is also a walking course through the 100-year-old cedar forest. Dinner with a view of the forest was delicious, featuring local cuisine. After the meal, free coffee and tea was served in the lounge on the third floor, and the cedar forest from there looked great. I was thrilled when a flying squirrel flew up to the cedar tree right in front of me. The hot springs are also very large. There are various hot springs, and the moonlit open-air bath was the best! 　 The delicious food, comfortable hot springs, beautiful views, and the hospitality of the staff were very soothing. I would like to go again.

The portion for dinner was a lot, but the fruit was a slice of orange and two thin mangoes, which was a little less than expected. Although the breakfast is only one serving, the portion is quite sufficient. There are mud hot springs, which are very special.

The house is clean and tidy, located opposite Yamada House, there is a bus stop outside the door, and the convenience store is a 10-minute walk away. Front desk service is attentive.

Every corner of the hotel is beautiful and the service is very good. The outdoor hot springs looking at Sakurajima Island are unforgettable. The hot spring lounge is very comfortable and the cable car experience is also very special. In terms of catering, the dinner was delicious, but the breakfast was a bit overshadowed by comparison.

Before making a reservation, I hesitated because of the lack of information, but after checking in, I was sure that it was the best choice. I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. Advantage 1. Private hot spring I was happy because I could soak in the bathtub at any time. I stayed at a private hot spring ryokan in Yufuin, but that place had a structure where you couldn't see outside. You can see the river from the bathroom at Yuyuan. Plus, you can see Sakurajima! Advantage 2. Cleanliness Even if you walk barefoot, your soles are clean. There is no dust anywhere in the room. Even the outside of the window is clean. Advantage 3. Spacious room When I travel, I always choose a room that is at least 25 square meters. It's uncomfortable if it's small. The room I stayed in was 50 square meters. It was spacious for two people. Advantage 4. Meals I had seasonal dinners twice and breakfasts twice, and I ate at the restaurant on the second floor. It was very comfortable because it was a private room. The taste was also excellent. I was even more satisfied because the dishes were made with Kagoshima specialties. Advantage 5. Friendly staff I felt warm staying at a hotel with friendly staff. They were people I want to meet again! The only downside. I took the bus. It was a small bus, not a bus that puts your luggage in the luggage compartment, so I was confused. Of course, this is not a problem for those who take a taxi or rent a car. It is not a good location for those who want to be in a busy area. If you like to take a walk while enjoying the quiet and beautiful scenery, it would be an excellent choice. It was a happy time for me. I walked to Kagoshima Shrine. I gave carrots to a beautiful horse and prayed. Yuyu-an is the perfect place for healing^^
