Nikara Yala Beach Villas

Outstanding.10 Stars. Thank you everyone at Nikara Liked · Wow. We stayed at Nikara for 3 weeks. It was fabulous. The villa was exceptional as was the resort. We were looked after so well. The team went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and wanted. The owners were lovely and treated us like family. Excellent food. Excellent location and overall outstanding. It IS the best resort on the coast with beautiful gardens that lead to a quiet stunning beach. We met many people staying in other resorts and they all said that they wished they had booked at Nikara instead. If you want a quiet location with nearby safari's, beautiful food and superb staff to look after you, then just book. 10 stars. You won't be dissapointed. Thank you to everyone who looked after us. If you want to explore, Ask for Randika who drove us everywhere in his Tuk Tuk. Excellent driver.

We stayed for one night and thoroughly enjoyed it / wish we were staying for longer. The property was well maintained and bedrooms spotless but it was really the service that made this place. The staff were super helpful and accommodating. The only downside was the limited dinner menu (there are not many options nearby to head out to either)

I went to this place a few days back with much hope after the really good reviews and very attractive pictures of the place. The location and surrounding was really great but have to mention there were alot of cons about the place when it came to the room service the water bottles were not changed daily the rooms were not cleaned the malfunctioning A/C's in some rooms. The Taps in the bathroom were not functioning properly there were no soap and shampoo.with the electricity issue in the country the owner gave us the word that there is a fully functioning generator and we didnt have to worry about power cuts but only after we went there we realized the generator was not working and had to spend a few hours in the midnight and in the daytime without electricity. The owner had asked for a advance payment as it's the normal but when we went to the place with hopes of getting into the pool after tackling the extreme heat in yala the pools were not cleaned and not ready to use,we had to wait for almost an hour to use it. Overall the service was really bad and disappointing,no proper staff and the staff who were there was useless.i travelled all the way from Colombo to yala amidst all the problems in the country for a stress free getaway but the whole trip was a disappointment because of this. I hope Mr Araliya takes responsibility for this and makes sure such a situation wouldn't arise for another customer.

Nice place. The room was clean, comfortable. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. We enjoyed it. Staff was very friendly. This house is on the beach. You can to enjoy seabath, walking on the beach. On this place you can to feel like a home.

Our family booked the whole villa with 7 rooms but Though this place looks beautiful and eco friendly, the service here was very very disappointing. MR. ARALIYA one of the staff who confirmed the booking for us mentioned that all sort of facilities was available at the villa but once we went there we had to face a midnight power cut and also power cut during the day time as the generators was not fixed. A/C in the main room was not working, there was no shampoo in the washroom, very few staff and they had long faces and attitude behavior towards us. The pool was very unclean. They did not provide us with drinking water on the second day. For the price we paid it was honestly disappointing. Consider before going here please. At last before our departure we had a negotiation on the price we had to pay and asked for a deduction due to the poor service but they refused and did not give a reasonable response and the most disgraceful thing was, they did not open the gate for us to leave. My brother opened it by himself and we left. Very unethical and unprofessional behavior and attitude.
