The look and feel of Sarang Paloh is lovely. It has an old world style which we loved. The location is also great, ten minutes from the station and close to lots of restaurants and spots in the old town. The room has a nice style to it as does the garden you walk through. The room facilities were lacking, with no fridge and no safe which we would expect at this price point. Hot water in the shower doesn’t last long and they provide a 3 in 1 body wash, shampoo and conditioner, again something we wouldn’t expect at this price point. The hotel also doesn’t offer room cleaning. This may have been because we stayed for two nights only but this is not communicated on the website or at check in. This meant used cups or water bottles aren’t cleared nor is the rubbish bin emptied. We were also not made aware of locally available discounts for staying at the hotel. All in all an ok stay but several small things made this not value for the money we paid.

Before checking in, the hotel sent us a guide in advance. The check-in rules stipulate that the mailbox pickup password and key box password will be sent before 3 pm. Check-in was relatively smooth, but there was no place to store luggage, so we had to wait with our luggage. I was not satisfied with the rooftop swimming pool. When I arrived at the hotel downstairs, I saw a notice saying that it was under maintenance. A large part of the reason for booking was that I saw this swimming pool. The treadmill in the gym was very old, there was no air conditioning in the gym, and the electric fan was not powered. It was basically useless... It was very hot and I couldn't stay there for a few minutes; the room facilities were quite warm, the table was fully equipped with dishes, knives, forks and spoons, and there were air conditioners and electric fans in each room; I was not satisfied with the shower in the bathroom. It was burned for a long time, but the bath water was still very warm, and it was even cold when washing hair. There was no toothbrush and toothpaste, and there was only an empty box for the hair dryer, but no hair dryer; the toilet was wiped several times with wet wipes, and it was black after wiping, and the hygiene and cleaning needs to be improved.

The location is next to MyDIN Mall, and very near to Amanjaya Sentral (Bus Station) Lots of stall and restaurant near the hotel and not very crowded place to stay. For parking, their are lots of it behind the hotel, but as always, park at your own risk.

Its kind of old,the screw is rusty in the toilet,the basin drain look like stuck ald because does flow smoothly,the TV is 28 inch which a big place with small TV,the toilet door is missing with the silicone barrier,the water might spill out,lastly which is most important it got window but but but cannot open which cause a bad air circulation.The location is half an hour to ipoh parade area but the pros is its very near Aeon and some of the famous food location is nearby.

This compassionate gesture was a reflection of the personal touch that M Roof Hotel prides itself on. The staff’s proactive kindness and genuine concern for my family’s well-being truly elevated our stay from a simple visit to an unforgettable experience. Their ability to blend luxury with heartfelt service is what sets M Roof Hotel apart. In conclusion, M Roof Hotel provides a seamless combination of convenience, comfort, and unparalleled service. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a place to stay where both the quality of the room and the warmth of the staff exceed expectations. Simply put, a stay here is an experience in hospitality at its finest.
