I don’t think they change the bed sheet, it’s kind of smelly and I found hairs on the bed. Breakfast was overflowing.

This hotel is absolutely clean. Their swimming pool is very nice and a good size. And the location is about 12 minutes to Kingston 1000 islands ferry by car. Also very close to downtown city hall.

Breakfast is very boring, we stayed four days, everyday has the same and not much choice either. Only staff are very friendly.

I happened to stay here as the Doubletree was sold out. First having not stayed in this type of property before wasn’t sure what to expect. What a nice surprise there was a kitchen in the suite plus a nice sofa. I found the room to have anything you might need for a extended stay. Plus had a desk and office chair. The biggest surprise was that the staff works in both hotels (Doubletree & Home2) as they are connected. I am so impressed with the staff, everyone I have had contact with has been fantastic. The location off the 401 (exit Sydenham Road to Princess St) is so quick & convenient. Lots of grocery stores to stop stock up the fridge within couple of minutes. Almost forgot to mention breakfast is served daily. I certainly will stay here again.

I have started to travel for work and after a few stays at a variety of hotels up and down the 401 I found one that stood out. The Home2 Suites in Kingston is in the building that once was the Ambassador Hotel that I had stayed at in the past for hockey tournaments with for my sons. The changes that have been made are remarkable. The room itself is large enough and has everything I need when I travel. Great front desk staff and breakfast was good too. I wish the weather had been better and had not prevented me exploring the green space at the rear. I will be back the next time I'm in Kingston.

We were in Kingston to move our son into university and stayed somewhere else, but when he asked us to stay one more night we thought we would try this hotel since we used to stay at the Ambassador and are we glad we did! Breakfast could have been better since the line was long and there was not enough food for the number of people, but that was a small mark on an otherwise great stay. The renovations make it clear that everything is brand new, the rooms are sizable and the kitchenette was a pleasant surprise. Staff were all friendly to my partner and I, but Josie absolutely stood out. Not only was she able to check us in early, but she took some extra time when we explained we were former Ambassador guests to show us the old hotel footprint and give us a trip down memory lane. We noticed she was even wearing Queen's colours and overheard her welcome another young adult "home" when she caught wind it was her moving in. What an absolute gem! I don't doubt we'll be back in Kingston to visit and this will be our hotel of choice.

My family and I stayed here relatively unexpectedly when our travel extended later into the evening than planned. While the hotel, location, room and facilities were great, I had several interactions with staff that mean we likely will not return. Seems like a newer facility. Hopefully they can work out some staffing issues in time.

I had to write a review which I never do. We stayed with a team recently and had a great time at this newly renovated hotel. I am not familar with Home2 Suites and learned from the front desk that this brand is very common in the states. I can see why - we had a full kitchen setup, great free breakfast and there is even an outdoor seating area and sun deck off by the pool area. Service was great and I always enjoyed the banter from the team working at night. Thanks!

My family and I stayed here relatively unexpectedly when our travel extended later into the evening than planned. While the hotel, location, room and facilities were great, the staff leaves much to be desired. The woman (?) with curly hair who checked us in around midnight seemed miserable and like we had ruined her day by showing up. The man (?) with red hair who was pretending to be a woman in the morning, while friendly and good at his job, should probably not be allowed in public. Reconsider your staffing if you want to appeal to families.

Building ands rooms are impeccable. They have a mini kitchen and dining table. They send you an email on e in the room! They helped us ordering out. Absolutely no noise. This is the dorst time we used them… but not the last. Affordable too. Great hospitality, friendly.

Our family of 4 adults just checked out of the Home2Suites by Hilton at Kingston, Ontario. The room comes equipped with a mini kitchen and a full fridge. The room and bathroom were spotless. The free breakfast was not very fancy but completely adequate. As an Hilton Honors member, I was able to check in online and choose a room to my liking. A definite 5 stars from me and would love to stay here again.
