Perfect day away

Can’t fault the staff as they were friendly. The hotel and rooms are clean enough but felt tired and need of a refurb. Bottom of the kettle was burnt out and the towels were thin. Sharing the car park with McDonalds made parking a nightmare especially at dinner time. It was super busy so not ideal if you’re coming back from a day of work and have to wait to get a parking spot. It was also warm at the time of the visit so had to sleep with the windows open, the surrounding roads are busy so be prepared for some road noise. Average at best and okay for the value. It can get a little frustrating if you’re there for multiple days.

We had a lovely stay. The hotel is in a good location, near the coast, in Kilmarnock and near Kilwinning where our family stay. It's a quiet hotel The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate. We had a view of trees, which was really relaxing. We would definitely stay there again.

I would like to say a huge thank you to the team at Kilmarnock. I cannot remember the name of the lady that went the extra mile in booking extra rooms at the last minute and assisting us with this at a difficult time. Both myself and my Husband hugely appreciate all that you do at Kilmarnock travelodge, you always make our stay a welcome one.

I had an excellent stay at Travel Lodge in Kilmarnock. The room was easy to book online, I had no issues checking in and was soon settles in a large bedroom. Staff were friendly, and helpful when I had to cut my stay short by a few days. And yes, I did get a full refund for those extra days. All in all an excellent experience.

Had a friendly welcome, good local advice, spotless room, helpful staff, from parking up to checking out. And a great location for getting about the area. Booked a return trip in a few weeks to show the family around before heading round scotland on sightseeing trip

Great location for us not far from Troon. All the essentials you need beds were very comfy and clean. Even though next to a main road it was quiet with the window shut. Service was friendly and welcoming even when we checked in late at night.

Recently stayed at Kilmarnock for72 hours great value for money and a very comfortable enjoyable stay. Very clean and excellent friendly staff fully recommend.

The hotel without doubt is one of the best, Not because it's cheap. It's because the friendly welcome /service from the staff is second to none, nothing seems to be a trouble, if you want teas or Coffees Decaf or regular it's given to you straight away. Same with towels etc. The room I had was accessible and very spacious, I feel safe and confident. Next door there is a McDonald's which you would perhaps expect to be noisy, i wasn't woken nor did i hear any noise late night. On the service site there are a couple of eateries and a fuel station, 5 minutes away is a retail park with restaurants and a major supermarket. This was our 3rd time of staying at Kilmarnock travelodge. even though we have to travel a fair distance to our event, and there are travelodges closer, But we prefer the friendliness of staff the cleanliness of the room. So we're booking again for next year. Well done Kilmarnock Travelodge
