Seawinds Bed and Breakfast

Seawinds Bed & Breakfast is placed in the middle of Killybegs with multiple restaurants just around the corner. There is also a small store around the corner. The owners are some of the nicest people on this planet and really went above and beyond to make you feel welcomed in. In my and my fiancée’s words ”it’s like coming to grandma and grandpa’s!”. The rooms are big, beautiful and clean. The beds and covers were very comfortable and there is a really nice guest kitchen with a fridge for the guests. Extra plus: The breakfast scones. The best darn scones me and my fiancé have ever had, and probably ever will have! No doubt that Seawinds will absolutely be our go to in the future!

My parents and I stayed at Seawinds for 3 nights. Excellent accomodation with very nice and helpful hosts who very much care about their guests. Felt most welcome and loved to stay at Seawinds. Big room, comfortable beds and very good breakfast with homemade Irish scones and nice orange juice. We also appreciated the guest kitchen with fridge and that we could use the breakfast room during the day. Would love to come again!

I stayed with Patricia and Gerry for a business trip recently. I felt very welcome from the word go. The room was very spacious and very clean. The bnb is in the heart of the town which was ideal for my visit. I will certainly be staying here again for my next visit to killybegs.

A fantastic bed and breakfast where they treated us like family members and made us feel so welcomed throughout our stay. Every member of the team went over and above to help us out and guide us on the local attractions. The breakfast was fantastic and the room is perfect for crashing between a busy day of sightseeing. The location is very good for exploring the entirety of Donegal.

I spent a lot of time staying at Seawinds B&B for work last year and my experience there was wonderful. The rooms are extremely clean, the guest kitchen was invaluable, breakfasts were brilliant and Patricia and Gerry are genuinely lovely people and wonderful hosts, happy to help with anything. The balcony during the summer time is a great spot for sunning with a good book and a cold drink. Killybegs itself is a lovely place year-round. You can watch the boats at work, seals in the harbour, get a coffee from Mrs B's coffee house or visit the nearby stunning Fintra beach and the Slieve League cliffs. Next door to Seawinds is Melly's, who does the best scampi and chips I have ever had! I would highly recommend Seawinds B&B to anyone looking to stay in Killybegs for work or while on holiday.

I stayed with Patricia and Gerry for 3 months on and off between May and November 2023 for work. Seawinds is a home away from home. Patricia and Gerry are the loveliest most welcoming hosts, they never leave you wanting anything and go above and beyond in their hospitality. The B&B is very homey, clean and has all the necessary facilities. The location is ideal, right in the heart of Killybegs, as I don’t drive it was perfect for me. I loved my stay in Seawinds and would recommend them to everyone.
