Fab hotel. Very well presented and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Lovely atmosphere and the room was beautiful. Very central.

From the start Brian and Helena welcomed us with warm smiles and the hotel owner’s family tradition of sharing in some whiskey. They made sure every detail of our stay was perfect with lots of great tips of places to see. We loved staying here!

Absolutely delightful stay at this quaint boutique hotel in the heart of Killarney. Very much appreciated the hospitality of the front desk staff. Lovely room. Great location. Delicious breakfast not to be missed. Only suggestion is for the bartender on duty the evening we dined at the hotel...clearly a novice in need of a bit of practice. Unfamiliar with how to make an Aperol Spritz. But what was lacked in experience was made up for in kindness and effort. A very kind gent!

Beautiful hotel, very centrally located. Room was spacious with 2 beds, TV, air conditioning. Bathroom was very spacious too with his and hers wash basin, shower/bath. There was a putting golf stick and golf balls and receiver to practice putting. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate, catering for all taste buds including gluten free food. Dinner was beautiful too with good selection from the menu. When we checked out, we were given scones for our journey.

While visiting Ireland, my wife and I had dinner in the bar of the Killarney Royal Hotel. We found the food (particularly the seafood chowder), drinks, service and the bar's atmosphere to be outstanding. Mike, the Bar Manager, came by several times to chat and make sure everything was perfect. It was. 'Many thanks; we'll be back!

The hotel asked for feedback and I sent it to them but never heard back . All the years we have stayed in hotels we have never had a bad experience like this one. Went down to dinner very early in the bar and ordered the beef and the lamb which came out in only 5 mins which we were surprised at. You could not tell which was the beef or the lamb as both were plonked on top of mash with a pool of gravy. Not what we were expecting from a 4 star hotel at all. First of all it was only lukewarm and as the mins went on my husbands beef starting changing color and was almost pale beige in color. The only way it would go like that is if it was reheated in the microwave. We were so looking forward to our meal after walking all day. Next was the room. End of the corridor facing the main back road into town which we laughed about at first but when it got dark the lights in the smoke alarm were like a lighthouse flashing every 8 seconds on top of the constant traffic and lights from the cars all night. Had to have the inside light on all night because of the alarm lights. You don't notice them until the room is dark. I have never ever complained about anywhere in my life but it felt like we were in faulty towers. We were so looking forward to our break away.

Our stay was great. Accommodations were comfortable and the people were pleasant, courteous and friendly. Especially like to comment 2 people specifically. Joanne in the Breakfast restaurant was fantastic and provided some sightseeing info that we found fantastic. Her friendly manner was very welcomed and if we were living in Ireland I would believe we would have become very good friends. Michael in the restaurant for dinner was also fantastic. His friendliness, attitude and great sense of humor was very refreshing. He too would have been a great friend. These people should be commended and rewarded somehow for a job well done. Thank you.

We were only in Killarney for one day but were able to see and do everything we wanted to do, both in the town and in the surrounding area. The hotel's location is convenient to shopping and restaurants/pubs. The property was beautiful as was our room. It was spacious with modern bathrooms and full amenities, including double sinks, bathrobes, and slippers. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming, as was the staff during breakfast service. Would definitely stay here again.
