Kildare House Hotel

This is an excellent hotel, which is well presented, clean and with good prices. The rooms are nice and beds very comfortable. Food options are good and tasty. The breakfast was excellent. There is ample free parking. But most importantly; it was the staff. They were very welcoming, friendly, patient and extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

had a great stay at Kildare House Hotel. The room was nice and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. A standout feature was the water bottle filter in the hall—such a handy touch! Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options to choose from. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Would definitely stay again!

The new bedroom are Fab, the food in thw gallops is fabulous, delicious and a great choice for everyone, the restaurant manager Fiona is so helpful and her knowledge of the menu is fantastic. Would highly recommend for a romantic stay over. 5 stars all the way.

My family and I stayed in Kildare house hotel for two nights in the first week of December 2024. On both nights we dined in the gallops restaurant, and each had 3-course meals. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. The restaurant manager, Fiona, showed us to our seats and provided excellent service.The food was delicious. I had the steak on the stone, which was a fillet. It was served with the nicest pepper sauce I have ever had, and I enjoyed cooking the steak at the table myself, it was a fun experience. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. I couldn’t recommend staying here more highly and I can’t wait to stay again!

Visited the hotel for one night for a Kildare shopping trip and overnight stay. The restaurant was very busy on arrival so we couldn’t get parked at the hotel and had to park down the road. The food in the restaurant was really good and the staff were friendly especially our waitress, as was the breakfast tasty! Only downfall to this hotel was our bed, both are backs are quite sore today and we had to sleep on the pillows which were on the bed which was far from ideal… The mattress looked old and was stained so may need a new one. We seen signs during our visit the hotel is currently being renovated. However when mentioned on check out I was told this was very surprising as the hotel is complimented on there comfy beds regularly and they would have to let housekeeping know?! Would return in future for how close it is to the village and delicious food/friendly staff, just ask for comfy bed!

Stayed for one night after a shopping visit to kildare village. Ideal location. Only a 10 minute walk to the village. Hotel is very good for an official 3*. Beautiful decor throughout hotel and spotlessly clean. The food is fabulous. We had dinner and breakfast and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food is. Nice ambience and atmosphere at the hotel with friendly staff. Slight downside is room was quite small and very limited(all irish) channels on a very small television. Slept well as bed and pillows were very comfortable . Would we stay again, most definitely. Just upgrade the television experience
