Premier Inn Oxford Kidlington (Airport)

nice room, convenient to get airport from hotel, big car park.

Disappointing that reception had an issue with my booking as it was booked via Trip and therefore showed a Dubai address which rid not match my address. Eventually sorted, but reception wasn’t particularly friendly. Ok location, quite far out from Kidlington/Oxford without a car. Nice room.

Our check in quick and staff was friendly and very efficient. Breakfast was good and parking has lot of space. Lacking in cleanliness of bedroom bed sheets and bathroom towels. There were spots all over the towels and seems it was not replaced

I found the hotel to meet all my needs. It’s just what you expect from a Premier Inn. The room was spotless and every member of staff that I encountered was polite. Check in was efficient and there was ample parking. The breakfast was at a Beefeater next door and was plentiful and well cooked. I didn't use the restaurant for dinner but it was open for lunch and dinner. My only complaint was that the windows didn’t open which I find so frustrating when it is 25 degrees outside and I just want some fresh air in the room.

Check in could have been a disaster if not for staff member Rekha who came to our aid when we could not check in correctly on the machine. She was very pleasant, helpful and efficient. Don't know how we would have managed if she had not been there. Rooms were quite good. Clean and comfy. Good showers. Breakfast could have been better. Went down at 8.30am. Cooked items were good but things kept running out on the continental area and only one member of staff to replenish everything, clear tables etc. she was very pleasant and efficient but needed help. Another staff member came out after a while but I think it requires two people at peak times.

We have stayed here 3 times over the past year. With my family but also with other families as we have visited Blenheim palace together. The premier inn is a typical premier inn. However the rooms that sleep 4 are larger than most so it's nice to have space between the beds. We have always been greeted by friendly cheerful welcoming staff. All of our rooms have been clean. Parking is free and plentiful. Highly recommend and would and probsbly will return. I can not say the same for the beefeater next door. We have eaten 3 dinners and 3 breakfasts there. The bill has rarely been correct. There have always been large amounts of the menu unavailable. Understanding of allergies is questionable.... We kept being assured our meal was gluten free when we had a dairy free person. Even pointing out that gluten was fine for us, we were only concerned about dairy. We ordered a vegan sundae (as the vegan pudding was not available) and despite the (many) conversations about being dairy free and ordering a vegan sundae, a dairy sundae was served. Thankfully we triple checked before eating it. A member of staff actually walked into the restaurant smoking (a proper cigarette) As well as being illegal this made the restaurant smell of cigarettes smoke. Completely unacceptable. Premier inn excellent. Beefeater next door convenient but could do better
