Ulasan Baan Khaosok Resort

Best place we have stayed in Thailand. Baan Khao Sok is everything we wanted from our trip. Family run, beautiful surroundings, authentic treehouses, welcoming and relaxing. The whole atmosphere here is amazing. You really feel like you're in the jungle yet still only a short walk to the town where there are lots of restaurants. Right on the riverside as well. They helped us when our tour fell through and I hadn't realised I could have booked all my tours through them. Next time we will definitely go through them. They know the local providers and helped us to avoid a seemingly ethical elephant sanctuary which had been sold to us, instead helping to link us up with a genuinely ethical project run by locals. We love the whole area and if/when return wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

Nice hotel in the jungle. Tree houses are a bit small but nice. There are some stores and restaurants near the hotel. The staff are nice and kind. You can book some tours at the reception when you arrive there. Breakfast is ok. For lunch and dinner you should go to restaurants near the hotel. Rooms don't have frigs. There is a boiler and coffe in the room.

Where to start! A unique stay in the treetops, comfortable room, beautiful surroundings and a small walk to the local village. Incredibly nice owners that really help you make the best of your tour. Sustainable stay- and activities and local support matters to them and that's clear. Loving the stay here

Very nice host helped us with all further arrangements. Magic place in the middle of jungle and 200m from main street with shops and restaurants. Highly recommended for short stay. One can feel like in jungle heaven when wake up.

We’ve just left Baan Khao Sok after a fantastic action packed two night stay. I was so apprehensive when booking a trip to Khao Sok as there were so many places available and not knowing where the best areas were or if they would be okay for children (we have an 8 & 12 yr old). I ended up reserving 3 different places and then finally taking a chance on Baan Khao Sok and cancelling the other two when the free cancellation period was up! I can tell you I made the right choice. It was absolutely fantastic. It’s a family run business and Polly made us feel so welcome. She organised the transfer from Phuket for us, all the trips and answered all my questions about where to eat! We were so close to all the activities and saw monkeys running around by the river in the first 10 minutes of arrival! I can’t recommend this place enough. We did the tubbing down the river (great fun!), night safari (so many creatures, lizards, frogs, spiders, snakes and scorpions), one day day trip to the lake (beautiful) and the best thing of all the ethical Khao Sok elephant sanctuary (no bathing with elephants). I will write a separate review about that. The accommodation we stayed in was a tree house lodge with aircon. We spent all day out so really only used the place for showering and sleeping which was clean and had everything we needed. My son highly recommends the rope swing outside and his favourite part of the trip was swinging off it into the river!

wonderful place ! amazing atmosphere ! lovely owners, very helpful and polite. Good breakfast and great location. You can book in the reception all local trips ( lake trip 1-2 days, elephant…) and all the transfers.

great place to hang out. super clean. family atmosphere Everything super organized. You can not say a bad word. Perfectly well-kept garden. Silence. Calm.just come and enjoy the jungle. we recommend a 2-day trip to the lake with the best guide in the world

One of the best places we'we spent our holidays, visited many places but this is one of our favorite! Staff is very friendly and helps with pretty much everything and organize amazing trips to Chiew Larn Lake aswell, i can nothing but recommend this lovely place.

Huts on the trees 😊 Just next to the centre of Khao Sok. Amazing atmosphere. Bungalow with a tree in the middle of your bathroom. Very comfortable bed, hot water and a great feeling of seating on the tree. The owners are extremely nice and helpful, they can arrange your time and all the trips during your stay for a good price. Definitely a palace worth to stay.

Family run resort, Polly and her family were fantastic and helped us out with everything including activities and transfers. We are a family of 7 so had 3 A/C treehouses. The children loved it - breakfast was included. The treehouses were cosy and had everything we needed, bed, fridge, kettle etc. Fantastic stay in a beautiful setting.

Lovely family who run this resort. Rooms were fun ! Be prepared for the climb up!! Its a rainforest so bugs and rain to be expected. Breakfast area was lovely and very nice breakfast given, Staff were super nice and we really recommend doing the tubing tour they offer. Hairdryer and safe in room and small fridge. LOvely balconys on the rooms. If staying in Khao Sok we would recomend a stay here.

Very rustic and nicely maintained tree house resort by the riverside. Owners were very kind and helpful in setting up tours and activities. The husband has a real love for nature and his excitement is contagious. We booked a day tour which was excellent but operated by someone else, and a trip to the nearby elephant sanctuary, which was owned by the family. Very entertaining trip with an extra sidetour to some coffee fields atop a nearby mountain.

Das Baumhausresort hat wirklich ein aussergewöhnliches Ambiente, eine tolle Lage am Fluss, sehr gutes Frühstück.. Morgens und Nachts die Tiere des nahen Waldes zu hören hat absolut etwas einzigartiges. .Die Eigentümer sind extrem nett und freundlich, lesen einem jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab.Bieten tolle Touren an, zu vernünftigen Preisen. Uns hat die Bamboo Cooking Tour, mit Nachtdschungel Wanderung super gut gefallen.. Restaurants gibt es jede Menge in ca. 400 m Entfernung an der Hauptstraße Wir kommen gerne jederzeit wieder..🥰 Thanks a Lot...

Uns hat der Aufenthalt in diesem Resort sehr gut gefallen. Alles auf dem Gelände war sehr schön und süß gemacht, einfach mit viel Liebe. Man merkt total das hier eine große Familie arbeitet und das auch gerne macht 🌞 Wir hatten ein Baumhaus mit Ventilator und ich würde mal sagen, ganz normale thailändische Standards, aber mit viel Liebe. Aufgrund der Regenzeit hatten wir ein Armeisenproblem, da wurde uns auch geholfen, aber sie kamen halt wieder. Ein Baumhaus ist halt sehr naturnah. Wir haben uns einfach mit Minzöl gegen die Insekten verteidigt. Nicht desto trotz fanden wir den Rest einfach schön, das Frühstück war gut! Und die Touren waren unser absolutes Highlight. Es wurde alles möglich gemacht :) Danke für die schöne Zeit.
