Islam Khodja

Fantastically friendly and very professionally run. This hotel is within the ancient walled city of Itchan Kala in Khiva just by the South Gate, about 5 minutes walk from the main attractions. If we ever come back to Uzbekistan this is where we will stay.

If any people have chance to visit the wonderful city of Khiva, I definitely recommend them to live in the Islam Khodja. The manager of the hotel is really helpful and provide a nice first impression to me. My driver do not sure how to reach the hotel at first and the manager provide a detailed instructions which help my driver to find the hotel. Once enter the hotel, even though it seems to be quite small at first, but the wonderful design will be noticed immediately. The space of the room is not the biggest too, but there are more than enough space for me to take a rest and store my belongings. The breakfast of the hotel is really nice too, it is operated as the buffet and the taste is good. Under the help of the hotel manager, I had joined the Aral Sea Tour via Khiva Tours which is wonderful with a reasonable price. The hotel also provide other tour such as the tour to the fortresses. The hotel manager also willing to provide any information that can help me to travel in Khiva which help me a lot. I may lost in Khiva without the information provided by him. He even drived me to the Khiva train station for free after my check-out. During my time at Uzbekistan, Islam Khodja is the best hotel that I had stayed in. And if I will visit Khiva again, I will definitely live in Islam Khodja too.

Fantastic family owned place with lovely two brothers and their wives, very good location and spotless rooms with gorgeous views.... A real gem in the heart of Khiva. I strongly recommend this place. Hikmatallah drove us to Ayaz kala...Thank you guys, from Renata and myself

This family run guest house is situated in the old city of Khiva, and is full of atmosphere. The owners were so kind and helpful, breakfast was fantastic with such variety, you could help yourself to tea or coffee & sit in the courtyard which was overlooked by an ancient tower, magical in the evening. Our room was bright airy & clean.

Il punto di forza di questa guest house è la gentilezza del gestore, oltre che la disponibilità. Struttura a conduzione familiare con una Posizione ottima, si gira tutto il centro a piedi. Sicuramente può essere un buona soluzione per soggiornare a khyva.

La estancia ha sido maravillosa. Las zonas comunes y habitaciones limpias y cómodas. Desayuno muy bueno, con lo habitual del país. Concertamos una excursión con ellos a las fortalezas del desierto y fue una muy buena experiencia. Visitamos 5 fortalezas y el guía fue muy simpático y amable. Lo más destacable es la amabilidad de todo el personal.
