Melina Bay Boutique Hotel

What a brilliant little hotel this is. I'll start with the staff, because all of them are really good. Nothing phased them, they even managed to put a full breakfast out when the whole village had a power cut. The rooms, pool, bar and dining areas are lovely. Cleaning staff made sure your room was spotless every day. We would definitely come again.

Perfect Stay in the Heart of Kassiopi! We absolutely loved our stay at Melina Bay Hotel. The location is incredible—right on the waterfront, with breathtaking views of the harbor and just steps from the village center, beaches, and great restaurants. It’s the perfect mix of convenience and charm. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and immaculately clean. Our room was modern, spacious, and very comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the sea—pure bliss. What really made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Everyone we met was kind, professional, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The restaurant was also a highlight—delicious food, fresh ingredients, and that gorgeous harbor view made every meal special. If you’re visiting Kassiopi, don’t hesitate—Melina Bay is a standout choice. We’re already planning our next visit!

A great location wasted upon a hotel that is jaded and unloved with signs of sooty mould on the walls, marks on tired furnishings and a bathroom that readily leaked into the room to create slip hazards. The breakfast food selection could be great but is let down by poor temperature and replenishment. The most negative point being the staff who are more focused upon their own agenda than the needs of paying guests. Overall this points to a lack of proper management or a surplus of mis-management.

Virtually from our arrival we found that hospitality had been replaced with hostility. Initially, we thought this started with Gina the receptionist but found in streamed down from the owners wife. The description of ‘Boutique’ should be ‘Bijou.’ The rooms are small and have two tone walls: white and sooty mould. All electric goes off when you leave the room with your key. Consequently with the aircon off your clothing gets damp in the little wardrobe and drawers. The shower has marble flooring so is a slip hazard when wet and water easily escapes through the bathroom to the tiled room floor! The included breakfast could be good if the cooked food was kept hot and other items replenished. However, the long distance conversations by staff at opposite ends of the dining room do little to assist ambiance On the plus side the harbour views are good as is proximity to a charming beach and some wonderful bats and restaurants along the Main Street. We love Corfu. It this experience makes us unlikely to return.

We’ve just arrived home after a weeks stay at the Melina Bay Hotel and we cannot fault anything about this hotel. The setting and location is beautiful being just on the marina/bay. While having breakfast you get to take in the lovely views and we paid for a harbour side room and we weren’t disappointed with the view. The breakfast was delicious, so fresh with plenty of options. We both agreed that this was the best breakfast we’ve ever had at a buffet breakfast. The two girls working at breakfast every day were so welcoming, very attentive and made the experience extra special. The rest of the staff were also a credit to the hotel with all of them always going out of their way to greet us when coming and going from the hotel, making sure we were enjoying our stay and check in/check out staff were lovely. Cleaners did a great job each day of our room and they were so polite greeting us each morning when we were going down to breakfast. The rooms were spacious, clean and bright. Plenty of space to hang clothes and drawers for storage. Bed comfortable, air con good quality and shower powerful. We ate a couple of times on an evening in the hotel and they were fresh, good quality and got plenty for the price. When returning back to our room on the last night we were left a small gift package from the hotel which was a great touch and topped off the holiday. We will definitely be staying here again if we return to Corfu and would recommend it to anyone!

What an amazing hotel! We had a fabulous 2 week stay here in September. Thank you to all the staff - everyone was so friendly & helpful. The hotel & pool area were always kept spotlessly clean & the sun beds were very comfortable. Special thanks to Gina on reception & also Clair & Kety at breakfast & Mario & Katerina. You all helped make our holiday so memorable & fun! We would highly recommend a stay here. See you next year!!
