入住時發現房間並未打掃，酒店管理混亂；後來換了房間，但室內衞生很差，衞生間垃圾箱也沒有清理

Staff were friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the full English breakfast cooked to my liking with choice of fried or poached egg. The room I had was lovely and clean with calming colours and big cosy bed. Slightly too warm for my liking (but I could open a window) and the water was too hot when using the shower. Decor was beautiful throughout the hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights in a party of 20. The hotel is well located and rooms nice and tidy and clean. Very good for the price. The staff for me were exceptional, especially Ellie who helped me out with a problem when I returned home. She went over and above what you usually get from hotels regarding customer service. Absolute credit to the owners, and definitely will go a long way if she stays in this profession....Look after her....Also the other members of staff were very welcoming, nothing to much trouble, and always smiling and happy to help with any requests. Breakfast was very good with any additional requests provided without any fuss. Would definitely come back here when in Kendal. Thanks for a lovely stay all the team . Would give you more than 5 if possibe.

The hotel is in transition as we learned just in new ownership. We hope they will improve the hotel. Friendly staff so that is good. Rooms need to sort out I think. My room had a bit small issues. But stay was just for an overnight stay. Good breakfast though and we had dinner in the hotel which was very good. Difficult to park close by but there is a cricket club just down the road that provides parking for a small fee and is within easy walk of the hotel.

This hotel was booked in name lakeland but as the sign is county hotel we walked past ot twice and even a taxi driver had no idea where it was. Turns out its directly opposite the train station. But it was a lovely hotel and have zero complaints. Clean, comfy, friendly helpful staff.

We travelled by Daish's coach from Worthing in Sussex on Sunday 11th August 2024. It was a long journey on one of the hottest days of the year. When we reached Birmingham district we changed coach and driver. Our new driver, Will, was then with us for the duration of our four night stay in The County Hotel. Will was knowledgeable about the area and fun. He kept us entertained by playing music for us to singalong to as well as a quiz. It took us nine hours including three half hour stops. The hotel was clean and the staff hospitable. We had a nice meal followed by Bingo and entertainment with Jason and Shirley who provided music and jokes. We stayed until the end which was a surprise after such a long day. We had a spacious room with a lovely walk in shower and LED lights around the mirror above the sink. It overlooked a busy road that was noisy but the weather was warm so we had the windows open.

I recently stayed at this hotel for four days and had a fantastic experience. I was informed that the hotel had just been taken over by a new company, so they warned me of expected teething issues, but everything ran smoothly. The staff were incredibly accommodating, and a special mention goes to the regional manager (female , blonde hair), who personally checked in with me every morning to ensure I had no issues and accomedated me throughout. The rooms are well-equipped with everything you need. It is comfortable, clean, and practical. The location is excellent, right opposite the train station, close to shops and restaurants, and not far from some great hiking trails. A big thank you to all the staff for making my stay so enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel, and for those driving, I suggest parking in the train station car park, which is free of charge. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely hotel , very clean ,room was brilliant couldn’t fault it at all . Breakfast was cooked fresh and very very nice and for £8 I’ve paid more for less quality and quantity. Staff are a credit to the hotel .well impressed and would stay ther again without any hesitation

Excellent location, opposite the Railway station and just round the corner from the buses. Friendly staff good food, easy walk into Kendal. Lovely walk to the castle. The room I was given as a solo guest was very large with 2 single beds set up as a King size. The hotel was in almost just decorated finish.
