"A wonderful experience, this place is a little bit of heaven ! So peaceful and relaxing with views that are incredible! We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was spacious, clean and had a wonderful terrace. It was cleaned everyday and the bed linen and towels were changed half way through a 7 night stay. Irene is very welcoming and we had a wonderful Greek coffee and cake with her in her apartment which was a bonus ! The pool is super and plenty of beds and umbrellas. The area is also very good, enough to keep us busy for 7 nights and the walk down to the lovely beach was also a highlight, with more bars and restaurants,although we needed a taxi back each time but that was very easy and only €10. We can’t wait to go back next year"

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Great facilities, decent size rooms and very comfy beds. The best thing about this hotel though is the amazing staff……….nothing is too much trouble. I must in particular mention Evelyn and Franklin who were amazing! My main gripe unfortunately was that there is no air con in the seating areas in the dining room but would thoroughly recommend this hotel"

"True, not every bedroom comes with a glorious view. Mine faced a concrete wall! But it was well appointed with the best Greek mattress I have ever slept on. There is no lift to the first floor, which was a pain for me, with age and disabilities. I have to say here that the staff team was amazing. Dealt with my luggage like professionals. Not patronising or demeaning to me in any way. I managed the stairs and took my own time. The building appears to have served a range of functions. It has been tastefully renovated. Breakfast was great! Plenty of choices . Staff asked people if they wanted more, before service ended. The single room did not have a balcony, nor would it have been practical to build one. I will return for the staff alone. It’s not easy to travel alone with disability, and I was treated with respect and dignity! That alone makes the Alley experience priceless!"

They couldnt do enough to help us. The location was good as being out of town a bit, but still some good restaurants to walk to nearby."

"Location was great very close to the beach and about a 10 minute walk into the main area of Scala. Pool area nice with decent sun beds and parasols, pool towels provided. Room was big with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, safety deposit box in the wardrobe. We had a kettle and fridge so able to make a hot drink. Room was clean but very dated the bathroom was especially dark no ceiling light just 3 small bulbs over the sink, no window in the bathroom to let in natural light either. Breakfast a bit disappointing."

"From the pick up at the airport the holiday at this hotel was excellent. Lovely family and staff who couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was excellent. Rooms are a good size including the bathroom and serviced each day. Breakfasts are good with a variety of hot and cold food. Snack bar is excellent with good service and a decent selection of food. The BBQ on Saturdays is good value. There are plenty of sun beds on the beach and around the pool. There isn’t anything I can fault but if I was “nitpicking”, sound can travel between rooms and I would like a bigger variety of fresh fruit at breakfast (there is tinned fruit and fresh watermelon). The high number of people who are return customers says it all!!"

All the facilities, not forgetting the spa, are first class and the food and drink are great. Loved the breakfasts and evening meals right by the sea. High class base for a visit to Kefalonia. "Hotel is positioned on a beautiful part of the island. The grounds are lush and pool is great. We loved everything here as far as the environment, views, amenities and our room, but the service was quite poor specially with the front desk. Our room was directly by the pool, and two nights in a row live music was playing at the pool restaurant until 11pm, which is great if you are there enjoying it, but not when you have a small child and trying to put them to bed. The next day when I told the front desk member that the music was very loud in our room and we were unable to sleep he just said yes we can play music until 11. When I pushed further and asked if we could be moved the answer was no. And that was that. I was stunned at this terrible customer service. I appreciate the hotel was fully booked but a simple gesture, an apology or sympathy would have gone a long way."

"We just returned from 5 perfect days at Eliamos. Our two bedroom sea view Villa exceeded all expectations. The photos on the website don't do it justice . 5 stars don't even come close to describing this property. The attention to detail is something you notice as soon as you set foot on site. The entire staff was incredibly accommodating. Our meals were delicious and they were able to accommodate a severe gluten allergy for a family member. We are already planning our return next year !! Don't miss out on Eliamos !!!"

All is very clean and the kitchen is well equipped. The pool is inviting and everything is lovingly decorated with greenery. Owner Afroditi gives the warmest welcome and is full of knowledge, she will give you the best tips about the island! Don’t skip breakfast at their cafe in town: O Kouklos."

Highly trained staff, always attentive. We visit this area every year, so we don't stay for dinner every night, but the meals we did have were varied. Breakfast is great. We hope to return next year."

It’s a short walk to a quiet beach and a lovely taverna called Denis, there’s also a mini market a short stroll away Do not hesitate to book here, it’s magical"

"We are on day 9 of 11 staying in the Magnolia Hotel Katelios.Wow we picked a great place.Firstly its beautiful to look at, all the rooms have balconys which look out at the mountains,just beautiful.The pool area has plenty of beds,all with umbrellas and never a fight to get one.Bar staff and all the staff in general are happy,polite and very friendly! The rooms are perfect for 2,plenty of cupboards,drawers for clothes,big enough fridge,comfy bed and free A/C.Cleaners work really hard all around the resort.I saw people say breakfast was a let down,it absolutely isnt! Plenty of things on offer,from fruit,greek yogurt,toast,bacon sausage and eggs every day,kept us full until the evening.Its an adults only resort so just perfect for us.The bar is open 11 am til 12pm,with a nice selection of snacks for lunch.A 15 minute stroll to the beach front where all the lovely tavernas are situated.First time in Katelios and will definitely be back! The Magnolia hotel is absolutely fab and we would 100% recommend"
