One of the best roykan in the area, which gorge view from the room. Onsen is great. Meals average - semi buffet for dinner, and full buffet breakfast.

Staff service is excellent.
Management pays attention to many detailed needs of guests.
Great food variety, and many local foods are presented. Foods are delicious too.
Onsen is excellent too.

The hotel is really far from the city. It takes 2-3 hours to take the Shinkansen from Tokyo and then transfer to a 1-hour bus. However, the scenery is really beautiful and it is very quiet. However, I encountered a bedbug in my quilt when I was sleeping at night, which scared me. However, the hotel has posted a statement that there will be bugs in the natural environment, so it is harmless. The buffet is very exquisite, with local characteristics of Akita, and delicious. The open-air hot spring is also very comfortable, I like it very much and it is worth a visit. The only regret is that during the snow season, the Yuze Valley was covered with heavy snow and we were unable to hike there.

Except that the food didn't taste super good, everything else was good, including the bathtub and the view. The equipment in the room is also very complete!
Because my car couldn't fit into the parking lot on the hotel's driveway, the hotel's front desk staff was very attentive and directed me to park in another closer parking lot outdoors in the severe cold weather.
By the way, travelers who want to go to Aomori should stop in front of the Yuze Hotel to fill up on gas.

A high-end hotel with first-class services and facilities. I especially like open-air baths. It is a great pleasure to enjoy the hot springs while admiring the red leaves in the mountains. A cost-effective hot spring hotel.

The service is excellent. I originally booked a room for 4 people, but I asked for extra money to share a room. After I accepted the price and was ready to pay, the hotel said it could provide a discount. Thank you to the beautiful waiter for the kind reception.

The outside and the town surrounding does not do justice to this onsen hotel. Although this is a pricey hotel but the quality of room (huge with both western bed and Japanese futon), and food justify the pricing. The interiors are well maintained and the facilities are superb. We had a river or stream facing room into the forest side and in about 1-2 weeks the autumn leaves would have turned the whole area red and yellow. The onsen is huge and very comfortable with 2 outdoor baths and 1 indoor bath. The buffet food presented had lots of choices and very good quality. You don’t feel the crowd even though this is a very big hotel. There is welcome drinks from 3pm onwards and you have many choices. Highly recommended stay.

We booked a special room on the top floor, limited to one room per day, but the room we were given was not on the top floor, but one floor below. When we asked the front desk, they said, "The top floor is already booked, so the price will not change, so please stay in that room." What? Shouldn't they explain what it was about or apologize first? When we showed the staff member who came to our room the confirmation email for the plan we booked, he said he didn't know about it. Doesn't the hotel check the confirmation email? How can they say something like that to a customer? How sloppy is their work? After that, we were made to wait for a long time, many people were replaced, we were made to explain the same thing over and over again, and the manager appeared, saying that it was their mistake, but that it was the fault of the online site where we booked, and didn't even apologize. I was so angry that I asked him, "Why don't you just apologize?" but he never said sorry and had a condescending attitude. He didn't seem to regret it, and instead just got defensive. Today is our wedding anniversary. Even when we told them, they just ignored us like so what? We're being dissatisfied with a dirty room that's not special at all and completely different from what we booked, and we're spending our anniversary feeling frustrated? The price is the same, so it's fine, right? I don't think that's the issue... I took a day off work to go and enjoy myself, hoping to make some nice memories and relax, but in the end, I spent 4 hours round trip, wasted travel expenses, and returned home without staying there, feeling bad. With so many rooms, it may be inevitable that they make mistakes in allocating them, but when they do make a mistake, how they handle it tells you the quality of the hotel and its employees. I can't imagine the manager coming out and being unashamed, and it's unthinkable that they would intentionally make the customers even more uncomfortable. The whole hotel was dirty, there was trash lying around where the open-air bath could be seen, and there was a dead stink bug lying on the dining room window. (I've stayed there twice before, and both times the trash and dead bodies were still there.) They say it's a special room with only one room, but in fact there are seven special rooms. I don't understand what it means to have only one room. They know about it and do it on purpose, so it's fraud. It's definitely not worth the money and time. I don't recommend it.
