Ulasan DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Queenstown

Doubletree was a last minute decision upon arriving Queenstown from Mt Cook. Although it is pricey, no regrets getting a room here for 2 nights. It came with a fully furnished kitchenette where you could do some cooking but didn't utilize this since we ate out. One peeve I don't understand is the need to pay for parking since onsite (NZD$ 16 per nite). There's ample parking and for guests that drive in, this should be complimentary for stay duration. Location is outside of Queenstown but water taxi available from hotel dock. Recommend for the environment and fantastic room but giving 3 stars for facilities due to need to pay for parking. Location by the lake allows peace and quiet and also wildlife encounters. Front desk staff during checkin time was very attentive and helpful as well.

Parking is not free. Hotel breakfast was average. The location was great and staff were friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable and very clean.

Beautiful hotel. Loved the free cookies threat. Walking distance to historic bridge, facing the Remarkables mountains range. Comes with full kitchen amenities.

Nice clean room with a nice kitchen. However it's lacking in cookware. A stainer but no pot. Only thing available is a frying pan. Nice separate sitting area.

Room/Suite was very nice and kitchenette is well equipped. On-site parking is available on 1st come 1st served basis or you can avail of pay parking in the area ($16 i think. not sure though, better ask the receptionist when you check in). We were given free cookies when we checked in, it was sooooo delicious =)

staff in the hotel restaurant were quite unfriendly.... it seems they do not want walk-in customers, even though I was staying at the hotel, the restaurant was less than half full and refused to serve walk-in hotel guests, sorry but NO NEXT TIME, there are a lot of choices in Qeenstown!

The room was so comfortable, everything was so pretty. The view was nice even though it was a little blocked at the bottom. The breakfast buffet was nice as well. The housekeeping attendants did a good job making up my room throughout my stay and the front desk agents were very helpful and friendly.

The facility seems pretty new. Spacious room with modern units and decor. They gave us free welcome cookies which was a nice touch. However, the free parking spots are limited and fcfs, or else there’s an option for paid parking (not run by the hotel but located right under — as I was told) or park quite far out.

Awesome stay!We love the beautiful lake view and spacious clean room. Staff with great service and smiling face. Complete kitchen utensils. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back again for our Queenstown's trip.

Nice functional room but odd cleaning service schedule. Left the room at 10am and returned at 4pm to find room has not been cleaned and towels not replaced. When asked at reception, was advised that room cleaning service is between 4-5pm, which was very odd considering many hotels do it in the late morning/early afternoon when guests are usually not in the room.

Ideal location if you want to avoid town area. It’s near Deer Park. For parking, depends on your luck to get parallel parking which is free but limited space. There is plenty of space in paid parking. The bed and room is very comfortable. Small kitchen/pantry is fully equipped with all you need. I would love to stay longer. Don’t miss hotel cookies (complimentary gift), very delicious.

Can’t turn on the air conditioner. Booked for lake view but ended with a solar panel view with a bit lake.

Uncomfortable rooms, no privacy, transparent Bathroom door, and door can not close completely, so everyone can see everything from living room, from bathroom on toilet or in shower you can see in living room and on the bed. Terrible room, and all are similar, location far, and expensive, $360 per night.

Extremely safe, clean and wonderful stay. I had a lovely time. Thank you to all of the staff for making it very very pleasant !
