Friendly staff, but run down hotel… The latches on our windows were broken and hence we could not rest due to noise levels on the street. I alerted the hotel for them to say their “technician” had fixed it. It was not fixed and I had to DIY improve the seal by using cardboard. It’s like staying in a cheap motel and paying $1000/night unfortunately. Our room was a “mountain view” suite, I’ve included photos below for you to judge whether that’s a mountain view.

We love the lake view from the balcony. Though it is not within walking distance from the town centre, it’s nevertheless tranquil and serene. There’s a ferry service, at a cost, to and from the town centre. Customer service officers from Hilton would be more than happy to share more on this. We like the morning breakfast though you really should be prepared to wait if it’s during the peak hours. I love their real honeycomb. What a treat that was! Spread wise could have been wider, but quality is decent. We enjoyed the friendly service by Hilton. We only stayed for one night, but would be happy if I had more time there. Overall, a very good stay there.

We were there for 2 nights and it was perfect. The location is very beautiful surrounded by river. We would definitely come back!!

Nice resort and friendly staff however is abit far main city. The view is nice lake.

Do not expect a 5-star service from this hotel. I booked it for birthday celebration for my husband. When I asked for a better view for the lake from the lady helped us for check in, I was asked to pay $100NZD. We wish to decide whether to upgrade after we see the room, the lady refused and only showed us picture. The swimming pool is not worth going. It is a clean and comfy hotel. But do not expect they will give you good service and celebration for a special occasion like other 5-star brand hotel. Will never stay with Hilton again

We had a wonderful two night stay at Hilton Queenstown Resort and Spa. The reception staff were friendly and helpful on arrival and the location and amenities were excellent. We enjoyed breakfast both mornings during our stay. Our only concern was we did not have longer to fully enjoy the hotel.

Qwe have booked early in advance and was given a room with no lakeview but a road instead. Very disappointed as it's noisy.

We have been staying here for few days. Yes the hoteliers are nice and they are professional attending our call. I will recommend you to stat here. Hotel ambience is awesome next to Lake Wakatipu

Great location with near proximity to Queenstown via water taxi, running every hour.

Easy check in and very friendly staff at the reception. Kaycee shared the hotel amenities and the best way to get to town via a water taxi. Hotel room was huge and the bathroom and tub were a delight. The area of the hotel is pretty private and the views of the lake breathtaking!
