Sandy Beach Complex - Poolside Studios & Seaside Apartments

We booked for Sandy beach but we're shipped of to a over shoot hotel called Sailors. That certainly wasn't what you see here. The rooms were large, cleanish, bathroom was flooded with sewerage, our room had a huge balcony with great views. If your booking for Sandy Beach make sure your stopping there. Never got chance to look round around that hotel. Both are in a fantastic position right next to the bars, restaurants and shops but be careful.

There’s only one word I can use to describe such a place and it’s amazing. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the view by the beach (which is a minute walk behind the hotel) was nothing but beautiful. They offered advice on how to explore the island, top places to visit and even helped me book all my activities such as my trip to Paxos, Anti Paxos, and the the huge caves near by where I took a ton of photo’s. I love the island of Corfu as it is beautiful in many ways, so I’ll definitely be back soon and I have no doubt that this is the first place I’m booking to stay when I plan to visit again.

We actually stayed at a nearby hotel and came to Sandy Beach for lunch one day. The pool area is beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff are really friendly. Especially the man who works there, he is really attentive. Worth a visit if you are in this part of the island.

We just loved it here. The staff and incredible and so friendly and helpful. Spotless rooms - yes they are basic but comfortable. Pool is perfect. Food great. Beach a little disappointing, but the water is amazing. Some other customers can be a little noisy. For the price it is an amazing place to stay. Thank you to all the staff - they work so hard and are all lovely

Sono stato qui con la mia ragazza per 8 giorni e avevamo scelto questo posto prorpio per le recensioni positive che avevamo visto. Effettivamente devo dire che sono fedeli in quasi tutti i punti, ma ci sono cose che, secondo me andrebbero migliorare. Il personale è effettivamente molto simpatico e disponibile per qualunque cosa e si muove immediatamente per risolvere problemi, o per farvi avere un transfer, in caso di necessità. Inoltre, quando entra un nuovo cliente in struttura gli viene offerto un drink di benvenuto, che sembra una cavolata, ma per me è un bel gesto. Si vede che tengono molto a cliente. Poi il cibo è tutto fatto in casa ed è davvero ottimo (lo capirete se parteciperete alla Greek night, o se vi capiterà di mangiare lì). Anche spiaggia (se non fosse per la presenza di alghe, che, però, non è colpa loro) e piscina vengono tenute molto pulite. Tuttavia ci sono anche molte cose che non vanno. Innanzitutto a partire dalle stanze: quelle restaurate, come quella che avevamo visto in alcune foto, ma che non abbiamo potuto prendere, dato che erano finite, sono poche; inoltre, le altre in foto sembrano più belle e più ampie (la realtà non è molto fedele alle foto. Complimenti al fotografo). Inoltre, il bagno della nostra stanza era un buco già per una sola persona. Le pulizie vengono fatte ogni giorno, ma non ho ben capito cosa puliscano dato che il bagno lo ho sempre trovato sporco di residue della saponetta che usavamo. Stessa cosa per il piano cottura, che era sempre pieno di schizzi di sugo che usciva dalle pentole quando cucinavamo. Ora io non pretendo che mi vengono cambiati gli asciugamani ogni singolo giorno, ma quantomeno che venga passato lo straccio e che vengano puliti bagno e piano cottura. Però devo dire che, quando siamo arrivati, la stanza era davvero pulita e che oggi, abbiamo lasciato la stanza, li ho visti pulire seriamente. Probabilmente, gli addetti alle pulizie puliscono bene e a fondo, solo quando i clienti lasciano la stanza. Poi c'è il menù della colazione: la qualità del cibo è ottima, ma si può scegliere solo tra sette piatti diversi. Avrei preferito avere la stessa qualità, ma con più scelta, magari con una colazione a buffet. Tutto sommato devo dire che l'esperienza è stata positiva. Personalmente consiglierei la struttura, perché, per il prezzo, è sicuramente una delle più abbordabili di Kavos. Inoltre è un ottimo compromesso, soprattutto per chi si ritrova a dover organizzare una vacanza last minute
