Sencillamente espectacular, vale la pena 100% la estadía en ese sitio tan maravilloso y familiar, hay un autobús desde el aeropuerto hasta la puerta del hotel básicamente, me gustaría felicitar a los dos chicos españoles que están en el staff por su gran servicio y amabilidad en todo momento y al hotel en general, muchas gracias Volveré !!

Hotel is awful...its a 1 star & not a 3 star! Rooms basic & dirty & we had hole in bathroom door & sewage pipes by balcony which stank. The pool area is ok & the spa is a tent by pool which is a joke. No staffed pool bar. Food is so bad.. never been to a 3 star hotel with such awful food. It looks like slop & no food for kids. Pizzas are 8 euros & not included. No snacks tiny croissants or fish fingers cut up come out at 4pm & milk off all the time so can't get hot drinks. They put milk in bowl of water in heat & it curdles lumps in your drinks. Asked for fizzy water at bar & it was yellow.. health hazard & rude staff & manager when we complained. Worst Hotel ever. On the Beach false advertised this hotel & will be taking legal action. Crete is lovely & Gouves nice resort. Valentinas restaurant next to this hotel total god send as had to spend extra £1,500 on holiday to eat out! No kettles in room & have to ask for toilet rolls & reception so rude! I went to reception & staff looked at me & said what?? Its an utter disgrace & a sess pit! Dont book this hotel...AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

The room was dirty it had eyelash extensions on the floor which I don’t wear, the bathroom/shower is absolutely disgusting…. Now for the food I think this will be the first holiday that I come home thinner than I went, it was the most disgusting weird food I have ever seen, and the drinks wow all inclusive for foul tasting wine and beer lucky there is a shop just by and the lady in there was lovely and they had loads of cocktails around €3 (€8 at the bar) stocked up on crisps and salami…. Would never ever come back! Worst all inclusive hotel I have ever stayed in

The hotel is nice, clean and the food is delicious. The rooms are large and cleaned daily. There are tree swimming pools beetwen trees and flowers. The restaurant serves, among others, Greek dishes. There are a lot of vegetables and fruits. And of course olives and tzatziki sauce. The service is very helpful.

Our vacation started in Crete, an island famous for its wonderful beaches and good traditional food. We decided to visit the " Club Lyda" hotel in Gouves. The reception was full of kindness and helpfulness. The rooms had a beautiful view and were very clean. The rooms were cleaned daily. The food was well-cooked and offered unique flavors. The waiters were always in a very good mood, smiling and offered us their services in the best possible way. Our impressions were very good and we will visit the Club Lyda hotel again soon.

Worst experience we had in long time. To start with airport transfer dont take u to hotel just leave u on the main road and you have to walk about 3-4minutes We arrived at 1am at hotel and was told our room not ready so we got a spare room and was told they will change room day after and didn’t:/ No water available when bar closes No animations at weekend Staf not friendly Our room had mould on the walls After every shower room smell like sewage Food:/ Only good things about it was fresh ingredients but taste and choice was very poor. First few days we eat to divorce than we just use local restaurants which was very nice And last we did book through love holidays and paid for holiday from 25.08.2025 till 02.09.2025 But today we been asked at 12:00 to leave the room coz new family coming and we going to airport at evening. I asked them to ring police to sort it out

Absolute disgrace the food is disgusting, been sold a lie completely. It says there’s 5 pools when there is only 2 pools, says there’s a sauna and there is none, the staff are very rude, saying there is snacks all day 11am-10:30pm and it only comes out from 4pm-5pm. We’ve had to eat out everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner which has cost us an extra €1500. Thank god for Valentina’s.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE - gin, vodka, water among other drinks. The bar closes for AI at 10.30. The food is horrible, it's not the Mediterranean diet at all ... tinned fruit and chips are breakfast options. Can't comment on lunch as we didn't have any. Dinner was bad, the supposed to be hot food is cold - I had cold beef pasta in creamy sauce. The snacks during the day came out at 4pm....it was bits of cake! Coffee is disgusting. Orange juice is sherbert water

On arrival, not very welcoming, shown around but not given details on times for restaurant,etc wife found information after looking through the Internet, then found that the all inclusive menu doesn't cater for children at 7pm neither did the afternoon menu really, we only really had breakfast after finding restaurant nearby, I also couldn't get my head around tables being set for three guests yet we was a family of four and so were many others, room we stayed in was a bit dated, beds weren't the comfiest the swimming pools wasn't the cleanest and could do with a upgrade, not one to usually complain or review but I'm glad we holiday in Kato Gouves Crete
