Gouves Waterpark Holiday Resort

呆在度假村不需要出來 就是曬太陽 玩水 吃喝 雞尾酒都免費 挺好的。沒有獨家的海灘 走去公共海灘 大約8分鐘。

I am writing this review & we still have 4 days left. An amazing family resort, the staff at every contact are fab. Very Clean, food & drink are very good. Quick 5 min walk to the beach, shops, restaurants if you fancy a change of scenery. Recommend Isla bar right on the seafront.

We stayed here 23rd - 30th June with 2 swim up rooms. Other hotels I have stayed in with a swim up room I expect some level of privacy for the money we have paid. shared pool yeah understandable but the amount of people that just walked on our terrace while we were lying sunbathing was ridiculous. A staff member even took a swimming class from our terrace on more than one occasion. We had rooms 7013 and 7014. These swim ups do not have steps at every room unlike what was pictured when we booked the room, there isn't a wall that seperates each terrace too so you are lying right next to your neighbour. The only benefit of having a swim up was basically guaranteeing a sunbed but it wasn't worth it. There is swim ups in other blocks I have seen pictured on their facebook stories that seem a lot more private but not at the block we were in and it was really disappointing for the amount we paid for this holiday. For All Inclusive Plus I expected more from the food. Even my husband and dad who literally eat anything struggled some nights. My mum even went to get a bit of salmon at the restuarant one lunchtime and was told it wasn't for guests not sure who was getting that. The snack bars were amazing though and we ended up filling up on them right before they closed as dinner was awful. There wasn't even a seperate childrens section either for food which I found really strange. The entertainment was done by the same entertainment team every night. We sat down for a comedy show and ended up walking out after a few minutes it seemed really inappropriate for young kids with a lot of sexual innuendos, maybe it got better but we didn't stick around for it and quite a few other people left at the same time we did. The hotel is clean and tidy although did take them a while at dinner sometimes to clear the tables so if you had a party larger than 4 then you would spend a bit waiting for a table or even have to sit seperately. The rooms are very clean and spacious although weirdly enough no drawers. The beds were really comfy and spacious too. We did venture out and walked to the aquarium and dinosaur park but the area round about the hotel is quite run down. All in all I was quite looking forward to getting home and a week was more than enough here. We wouldn't return.
