STAY AWAY!
We arrived at the hotel after travelling 12 hours and the shuttle the hotel arranged was not there. This is because the hotel had not arranged the pick up and when we phoned they scrambled to find us a ride. We were also misinformed about whether we needed cash to pay for the taxi by the hotel. We arrived to the hotel and there was no room for us. The manager was conveniently not in and the booking manager was not willing to speak to us. They told us they had the reservation that we paid for but no room. We either had to be shipped off to their (lower quality) sister hotel or get a refund and leave. No meaningful help was provided and they had the ******** to tell us to WhatsApp the booking manager because they didn't want to speak to us on the phone. No explanation was given.

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon to Zanzibar. The hotel is beautiful with incredible views from the restaurant area overlooking an infinity pool and the ocean. The staff here are among the nicest we encountered our entire trip. Nothing was too much of an ask and they were all happy to assist whenever we needed anything. Our room was spotless and we had clean towels every other day along with a daily clean and fresh water. The location is great for visiting the nearby famous Rock Restaurant which was about 10 minutes in a taxi. The road leading to the hotel is a bit ropey with a lot of pot holes, but the majority of the island is the same. We booked an excursion through the hotel which was incredible and included all our drinks and lunch during our boat trip, along with taxis to and from. The hotel food was great apart from the bees during breakfast, but I’m not sure what can be done here as the restaurant is outside. With two pools and two beaches to choose from, you really can’t go wrong with Pearl Beach and I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking.

Stunning location, good food, wonderfully friendly staff that made us all feel like part of their family. We did a number of great day trips and also spent some relaxing time locally, enjoying the pool; the beautiful & quiet beach; as well as playing lots of competitive beach volleyball with the Massai tribe who are on hand to help at all times.
