Location is superb, right in the middle of Kathmandu, walking distance to Thamel. Other interesting landmarks are easy to reach with the helpful taxi drivers (always present outside the gates). Hotel staff are very kind, sincerely engage in conversation and helpful in providing tourist information. Rooms are cost and warm decorated. Hotel has a beautiful garden suitable for a relaxing stroll. Swimming pool is nice and very clean! I highly recommend this hotel above other hotels in Kathmandu. Thank you Mr Prakesh for the awesome service in the restaurant.

預定了新翼的房間，24年剛剛裝修完，設施很新。酒店地理位置是優勢。就在皇冠前街，出大路很多餐廳。老錢風的裝修非常華麗，服務非常熱情，金鑰匙標準。酒店花園應該是加德滿都最舒服空氣最好的地方，松鼠雀滿園都是。

相對中規中矩的五星級酒店，沒有特色，相比於德瓦利卡差多了，同樣價格也會低不少；在這裏住了兩晚，搬到德瓦利卡住了一晚，差距不小。

The room was nice and the included breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of variety of Western and Indian/Nepalese dishes. Some can be made in the kitchen at request- such as Dosa, which my server recommended! The staff was attentive and made recommendations of dishes which could be prepared in the kitchen by request.

I had a great stay at Yak and Yeti Hotel. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A big thank you to Sonika and Sandradh at the reception for their warm welcome and support during my stay. The hotel is beautiful, with a lovely mix of traditional and modern style. I especially loved the colorful garden – it’s such a peaceful and relaxing place. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything I needed. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here. Highly recommend!

Excellent food, excellent service. The ambiance was very nice. Enjoyed the beautiful garden with beautiful flowers. The food in Chimney restaurant was excellent! I would definitely recommend it to people. And service is fantastic. My wife ordered passion fruit lemonade and it was not available in the menu. We accepted it. But then later on we were surprised that somehow the restaurant arranged for it and it was very tasty. So this personal touch and attention to details means a lot. When leaving the restaurant all waiters and waitresses were smiling and warmly seeing us off. Overall experience lifted up and made us all feel welcomed

We stayed 7 nights at the Yak and Yeti and we had selected this property because of its close vicinity with sights. Hotel is perfectly located a 10 minute walk to the Royal Palace and 15 minutes from Thamel. It is standing in a nice park which is nice to relax from the vibrant and lively streets of Kathmandu. The Hotel stands as part of a former palace and its new wing offers nice views over the old pink Newar facade. Lobby is huge and offers two restaurants (one for breakfast and dinner, the other one, for Gourmet food by the fireplace). There is also a very nice gallery with shops. Our room, Double De Luxe Heritage was spacious, elegant, clean and overlooked the garden and pool. As heritage style it had a sofa by the bay (which is nice to relax) and nice wood carvings for the bed headbord. The kingsize bed was super confortable. The bathroom had a nice size and the shower a great water pressure. Buffet Breakfast was Fantastic ! The chef Rajendra made delicious and fresh soup of our choice every morning, with either pasta or raviolis. Eggs of our choice, saussages, cheese, main Nepalese dishes, fruits and rolls were super fresh. But what has made our stay enjoyable is the memorable staff members who, from the reception, to the restaurants have overpassed the Nepalese hospitality and sense of clients service. We ate every evening at the Chimney restaurant which food and service were excellent. The room was very cosy with working fire place. Food was délicate and very tasty. Great !
