The Sparkling Turtle Backpackers Hostel

I've stayed at the Sparkling Turtle hostel for 2 nights and then, after few days another night. The owner of the place is very hospitable and is willing to help with everything! I've come without a booked a tour and permit and his friend came the next day to help sort it out in half an hour. Rooms were cleaned very well and have everything I need. Ambience felt a bit empty as I was expecting more guests and talks with other travellers. Perhaps I was just unlucky as it's not a peak season. It's located a bit away from the city centre but that gives a nice view from the room and rooftop.

Mr. Ajit is very good looking and a fun guy to hang out with and he believes in the motto of come as a tourist stay as a guest and leave as a friend. The hostel is very good, clean and hygiene is well maintained. The bed are very comfortable and bathroom is very clean and there is beautiful view from the window and terrace. A peaceful place to sleep. I highly recommend to stay here at THE SPARKLING TURTLE.

It was the best experience which we had here. Everyone is very helpful ,very cooperative.rooms, ambiance,refreshments all facility are brilliant. I would prefer you to stay and make some memories here. You can see the all city from here. Thank you 🙂

The ambience of the place is very nice, the view from the balcony is the best and the rooms and bathrooms are also very neat and clean, the beds and pillows are very comfy, i had a very good experience of my stay at the sparkling turtle and i would recommend everyone to visit this place

I really enjoyed my stay there, it was the first time I felt really good and safe in Kathmandu and had the best sleep ever cause it’s in a nice quiet neighbourhood. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms have a high standard compared to other places I stayed at. I got all the help I needed (recommendations, bus reservation,..) and the family of the owner is very kind and helpful. Would definitely go there again, next time I’m in Kathmandu!
