Sani Dunes

Our 9th time at Sani and 4th at Dunes and it’s better than ever under the management of Nicos. Fabulous and attentive service from all the team and the food has been amazing. It feels tranquil even at busy half term week. Just over half way through our stay and booking again for 2025. I work in the travel industry and this is the best !

The Sani Resort is truly paradise, despite the fact that Sani Dunes is no longer child free it is still wonderful. The grounds and gardens are beautiful everywhere is perfectly maintained, a beautiful beach just great for a holiday. All the staff are so well trained and so nice, nothing is too much trouble. You will have the best breakfast ever. The hotel is full of guests who have returned time and again, everybody loves Sani Dunes.

Just back from a stay at Sani Dunes. The hotel is indeed great and the service, area, pool and beach are all to the highest standard. Understand that this is a family hotel with a lot of guests having very small and very active children, so if that is not to your liking you might want to look at some of the other Sani options that are gated. Everything works around an app where you register your stay, reserve restaurants, trips, training, spa etc. Very important that you download the app and reserve your dining, trips etc. at least 1 (one) month in advance of your stay, or you might find yourself on multiple waiting lists. As a couple expect to use 250 to 300 Euro/US$ a day on dining. Your options for dining outside the resort are very limited and prices within the resort reflect that.

Amazing experience in one of the best hotels I have ever been to. Aris from reception was exceptional. Erol always there to assist with a smile on his face. Would definitely come back. Many thanks to Panos (reception manager) who assist us with anything we need during our stay. Plenty of restaurants to choose.

Amazing as always .. quality and attention to detail make this beautiful resort truly special .. booked for our 6th time for next year ! It’s difficult to know where to start to review the amazing Sani Dunes. We’ve been going to Sani for 16 years and Dunes for the last 3. The outstanding quality is everywhere. Firstly the superb staff led by the lovely, now good friend, GM Nikos who is a wonderful and professional guy striving constantly to deliver excellence. He is genuinely proactive and visible and wants nothing more than for you to love your stay. All staff follow this work ethic and smile their way around every single day. Special mention to beautiful Maria who has found her ideal role in guest relations and Dimitri for first class drinks and daily laughs at the Pool Bar. The whole resort continues to grow and improve with beautiful gardens, clean and accessible walkways, pristine pools and beaches. Tempting boutiques and classy marina. The restaurants and bars at Sani Dunes serve delicious and inventive dishes and cocktails. Our favourite meals this year included sea bass and tiger prawns at the Beach House. We also enjoyed the best of fine dining and views at Katsu, Pines and Ouzerie. Yes, it can be pricey but it’s so worth it. It’s not just the obvious that is first class, it’s the ‘small’ things too like the super soft bedding, the toiletries, the crockery, the music and ambience, absolutely everything. We love this place and the staff. We will return for as long as we can and we look forward to our warm welcome and hugs when we do x

To the person who asked me about the bathrooms in the dunes: As this is the newest part of the complex, the bathrooms are very old-fashioned. They are not 5-star; they are very small. The toilets are basic, they are not showers wc.. Toilet (not shower wc you have ues wipes to clean) paper is used, and you dispose of it in a bin. I would rate the bathroom only one star, but the overall sanitation is fantastic. You won’t be disappointed.” Feel free to let me know if there’s anything else I can assist you with! 😊

We have been coming to Sani for over 15 years and we never tire of it. They are continually improving and evolving. Sani dunes is the perfect spot for both beach and pool lovers as they are next to each other. Even though we went in half term it never feels busy or crowded and never a need to reserve sunbeds. All the staff are proactive, friendly and always ready to help. Nothing is ever too much trouble The GM Nikos is ever present and always passing by to check in with guests along with Andrea They are genuinely interested to hear how your stay is going and how they can improve it. All the restaurants this year were fabulous. It’s hard to name them all but Katsu, Asian, Macaroni and beachhouse were all superb. We stayed on the beach everyday and the beach staff were brilliant all managed by the amazing Klinsmqn. Sani dunes is the perfect destination for laidback luxury

I’m just back from another wonderful stay at Sani Dunes, made even more special by the new General manager Nikos who has taken the hotel to an even higher standard than before. He and his team ( special shout out to Andreea) provided such friendly and professional service that I felt like an honoured guest every moment I was there. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The weather in early June was glorious: blue skies and sunshine but not too hot and long days with warm evenings and fabulous sunsets. The pool was warm and spotlessly clean, as was the sea. Walks I took around the resort highlighted the amazing care and attention given to the planting and the summer bedding was all in full bloom which was delightful. The junior suite I stayed in had the most beautiful décor and a garden right by the swimming pool; it was a perfect location for complete relaxation. It was also great to see further developments this year in the Green Sani initiative including water refilling stations at the pool and no single use plastics. The weather meant that every meal could be taken outside and I had superb meals throughout my five night stay with outstanding quality food which was beautifully presented and served. My favourite dishes were: The Market: tuna carpaccio. Fresco: duck papardelle ( it’s a winner every year!). Cabana: roasted scallops. Beach House: ceviche. I must mention also the outstanding breakfast buffet both up at Market and down on the beach at Beach House. So a huge thank you to Nikos, and to Andreea and the team, for going above and beyond again to ensure that the service was superb, every detail was perfect and to sprinkle some Sani magic to make my stay so special.
