Hotel Bintang 2 di Kashgar

What can I say: awesome place, awesome room, awesome hosts. Alyx is speaks little English but WeChat translate and other translate apps, helps with the English-Chinese barrier. Along with the extremely warm hospitality with his wife who made an effort to make me breakfast before my early 2 day tour at 8 am which is not part of the expenses, made my stay in Kashgar worth wild. With my little Chinese, we exchanged cultural experiences and it was like we were old time friends. He even patiently helped with booking a tour to Lake Karakul and to Tashkurgan, along with getting a border permit (where the tour company was harrassing him for extra info since they never dealt with a foreigner before) and which was unknownly in the Lonely planet guide but under Karakoram Highway section. Thanks for making my stay feel like another home - with friends rather than another business in another city for a female solo traveller.

1. Location: In the west of the ancient city, very close to a gate of the ancient city. Then go out of this gate, cross the road, and walk a short distance to the right to reach Nuolan Hotel, a relatively good local restaurant with many locals. The hotel is decorated very distinctively and the service attitude is good. I ate roasted pigeon, lamb skewers, pepper chicken, strawberry milkshake, etc. I think the taste is quite good 😄. There is also an ancient city performance downstairs at 7 o'clock in the evening. 2. Room: The room is very clean, the bedding is comfortable, and I like the layout very much. The bed is against the window. When you open the window, you can see the ancient city street. The sun shines in and it is very warm. 3. The boss: very enthusiastic, and also invited us to eat the dates grown by ourselves, which are very delicious. There are also two cute cats. Our girl likes this homestay very much 😄, and is vying to write a review. Kashgar is a place worth visiting again. Next time, I will choose Qingfeng Yage

I stayed here with my two kids under four years old and loved the experience. The hotel is located at a prime of location where Eid Gah is two mins walk away and the pedestrian food street and ancient city right across the road. The hotel is generally very clean, however as I entered my room I did feel like the floor needed better mopping. I could clearly see that some diet residue has been smeared all over the floor. The staff is super friendly and helpful, they were very cooperative with my inability to understand Chinese. Breakfast is amazing. They offer a great variety of items from fruits to bread and drink and soups/bean paste. I did notice that the bread was stale but there were definitely other options available. You can also do laundry without having to buy your own detergent 🥹 on the 5th floor. I did twice. 😄 My life was made so much easier with kids. I am so going to stay here again.

It was another good experience, clean and tidy, and the price was civilian. I want to experience the original Kashgar life of brothers and sisters close my eyes! Living here is not only a homestay, but also an immersive Xinjiang Cultural Theater ～

The girl on the front desk is helpful using her phone translator, there’s beer in the fridge (Wusu is the strongest but not very strong), the 4-bed room has bathroom and curtains for the beds for privacy. Nice to hear the music from below reaching the room. Great to be in Kashgar for the brilliant Sunday Grand Bazaar livestock and food market, and for the unadorned serene Id Kar main mosque (one of 24,300 mosques in Xinjiang), the mausoleum (walk up the long side road and see it from the back first: it’s beautiful there, there’s no one else and the cemetery is also amazing). The old city isn’t so special but there is a separate part over the main road rather is much less touristy and more appealing. There’s also this beautiful cafe there shown on the last three photos here, with loads of coffees, playing Astrid Gilberto, and with beautiful features he chose to add to the original old-city building.

The boss will send a very detailed route map. The location is easy to find. I have too much luggage, so I trouble the boss to pick it up, otherwise I will go by myself. The starting point of the camel caravan princess's selection of a bride is here. Just passing by the door, you can follow the performance all the way. This time I originally planned to stay for one day, but after arriving, the service of the owner and the staff of the hotel was very good. I stayed for another two nights, and the location in the ancient city is very good. It is convenient to go everywhere. It is only a 2-minute walk to the center of the ancient city. As soon as you go out, there are many famous online celebrity check-in spots and many travel photography shops. If you have nothing to do in the evening, you can drink tea and chat at the B&B. The boss will give you a lot of suggestions on the travel routes of southern and northern Xinjiang, as well as where there is delicious food in the local area. We all went, and no one stepped on the pit. Overall, this trip to Kashgar was great. Will come again in the future~

The hotel rooms are very spacious and bright, with very good lighting, making people feel very comfortable and warm. The hotel has a superior geographical location and convenient transportation, and there are many attractions and shopping centers around it.
