June 2024 The hotel was renovated as an interim step, and will be completely overhauled this winter Beautiful surroundings, pity no normal supermarket nearby, Toilet made a lot of noise, indicated at reception, after 5 minutes someone was there to clean it to repair. Our air conditioning also did not cool properly, again we reported it to reception, this time they were also quick. Unfortunately it can no longer be repaired, we received a new air conditioner the same day. After indicating that the bed was too hard, a topper was quickly placed, so that we slept very well and cool for the remaining days. After giving some suggestions, which the manager appreciated, he would take them on board during this renovation. Despite these minor problems, we had a wonderful holiday, partly thanks to the very friendly staff This young team has a high regard for service, so they deserve our appreciation for quickly resolving these minor issues, Keep up the good work Charly and José Holland

The most amazing place for the money, the staff is sooo lovely and sweet. Its just off the beach and there is some amazingly beautiful beaches here within walking distance 1-10min depending on what you want, peppel, sand, rocks . There will always be more luxurious places to stay but this is familiar, quiet, neat and clean. You always feel welcome. We got a double room on the ground level next to the restaurant with grape wines covering the outside, perfect view of the ocean and a garden of olives just outside. spacious rooms a perfectly adequate breakfast. New beach towel whenever you need and AC all the time. It’s a harsh terrain so don’t expect rainforest climate but it’s a beautiful and dramatic scenery. I would recommend it to travelers who want to enjoy the beauty of nature. 15 min to pigalia w taxi 15 € but there are some restaurants on the beautiful walkway along the coastline and on the beach so you don’t have to leave the area unless you want some more buzz. It’s a perfect Family vaccinations with small kids Teenagers a bit boring unless you travel with friends, couples would love it. We were here over midsummer so still a bit slow but easy to get sunbeds at the beaches and no trouble at all getting lunch or dinner. Sunbeds are a bit expensive at the top beach ( sand and real comfy beds) 30€ a day (2 beds & umbrella & water) but you can get them for 15€ or just lay down your blanket for free. I think the snorkeling is best north of amoopi at the pebbles beaches ( small and cozy) at this time we were all alone in one of the bays Amazing!! Rent a car or Vespa to get your self around the island if you get bored it’s very cheap and worth it. The food is actually really good but be aware that it’s a lot you should always share!!!! ( if you’re a scandi) I don’t know how many times we had to take a doggie bag 😂

Best location next to the beach. Very nice and clean hotel runned by a very hostile couple. Also best breakfastbuffe we ever have hade in a greek hotel. The view from the dinner balcony (and from our room) over the sea was amazing! From the beach you can order snacks and beverages.

We recently had the BEST stay at Argo Hotel on Karpathos! Perfect combination of being cosy and family run with the professional flair of being years in the business. Great breakfast, idyllic location

My wife and I were extremely impressed with the location and hotel quality at the Argo Hotel, in Amoopi, Karpathos. Perhaps the best location in the Amoopi area, the hotel offers a postcard experience with 180 degree views of the sea. The room was very clean, very comfortable and refreshingly traditional, nicely decorated and with all the luxuries that we had hoped for. The dining and breakfast were very well executed and offered a lot of options for us whilst the staff were particularly attentive and assured we were well looked after. The hotel staff also advised us of great places to see and dine at and we found the recommendations were ideal for us also . In our experience we were well looked after, better than any other hotel we had experienced in the Dodecanese islands of Greece. Thank you to the team at the Argo Hotel

Great hotel with nice rooms and above all an outstanding service from lovely staff. Nice garden, close to small beautiful beach with bar service. Good restaurant on site. Easy to get to the main town Karpathos.
