Karimunjawa Hotels with Wi-Fi

Beautiful childfriendly hotel! Initially it seemed that earlier negative reviews were confirmed especially in the area of being understaffed: our room wasn't ready in time probably mainly because of not enough staff. Later though we had very good experience with how the room (we stayed in a family cottage) was cleaned daily. 1. The location is really excellent: close to the sea, with a big swimming pool, close to the harbour and walking distance to the village centre with shops & restaurants. 2. So the cleanliness only get 3 of 5 because of what mentioned before. 3. Service gets 5 as we found that the staff was very helpful. At breakfast we could order omelet and scrambled eggs (not part of the buffet) and we could order some extra other specifics that was more fit to our Western food wishes (pancakes without green food colouring!! ;). Friends that came over were initially asked to leave the pool but when we explained that we assumed they could stay for a 50K fee pp (like we've seen other hotels deal with this), they allowed us. A broken lamp was fixed immediately upon arrival. When we asked for extra toilet paper or shampoo they would bring it immediately. When we asked where we could buy bread for lunch for our kids one of the staff got 2 loaves of bread for us and they didn't charge us extra for that! Breakfast was served earlier upon request (earlier than 6.30) since the ferry left early. 4. Facilities 4 out of 5: fairly new, straight forward, practical. Only some broken things like tiles here and there that were broken and at reception, the ceiling had a hugh hole. So in general, we found this a very very good hotel where the staff made our stay very pleasant, we would like to come back one day!

This hotel has it's own little beach and a jetty over the clear waters. The island is very hilly and with only one road surrounding the National Park in the centre, the hotel is on the edge of town. Only negatives are that due to the rustic construction, sound carries from the living areas downstairs and from other rooms very easily so suggest earplugs if a light sleeper and a sleep mask as the curtains and front door allows light to flood in. Fani on reception is such a star... even helping us when my hired scooter got a flat tyre. Trips to other islands within Karimunjawa national Park are easily available and the snorkeling is wonderful. Great place for a true off the beaten path paradise escape. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues due to being built into the hillside though. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended

Ein richtig süßes kleines und feines Resort mit einem Super tollen sauberen Pool. Die Holzhäuser sind einfach aber schön hergerichtet und die ganze Anlage mit dem Pool und dem Garten ist super um zu relaxen. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und sehr lecker, das einzige was verändert werden könnte, wenn es richtigen Kaffee und Kaffee Auswahl geben würde. Man kann dort den ganzen Tag verköstigt werden und das Essen schmeckt richtig gut. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und haben für uns eine Schnorchel Tour gebucht und man bekommt von Besitzer eine Einführung in die Sternenkunde. Der Besitzer ist ein Hobby Astrologe und hat mehrere Teleskope. Wir waren sehr gerne Gäste und empfehlen diese Unterkunft zu besuchen.
