We reached Srinagar on 20th March 2025 and our driver dropped us on gate 13 of dal lake and told a guy moving around to get a boat from meena group. We cluelessly waited 30 mins for someone to pick us up and escort till the boat. Aan elderly uncle arrived looking for us, Extremely humble and had an enchanting smile, Helped us board the shikara and spoke to us briefly about shikara's and all We reached the houseboat and met Azad bhai who was managing the stay for us. Amazing, Charming and a very welcoming person. Offered a welcome drink, and gave us the tour of the beautiful houseboat ❤️ It's was enchanting, beautifully decorated and the Itra sprinkled around was amazing A truly royal stay. He guided us about do's and Don'ts on the houseboat and the bed OMG was the fluffiest bed I ever slept on, It was extremely cold and he was kind enough to get us two hot water bags. He makes amazing tea, toasts and Omelettes. Azad bhai and Shikara wale kaka arranged a tour of dal lake, briefed us about the history, took us to the floating market. Dropped us on the other side so we can get dinner. He woke us up at 6 am as we requested a wake up call, breakfast was finely descripted on the royal dinning table ❤️ We again sat down for an hour while he told us about the history of Kashmir, the people, the food and places worth visiting. Also made us aware about bargaining 😁. Shikara wale uncle was extremely kind and generous, dropped us till the gate for us to board our vehicle ❤️ Please place was amazing and people over there made it more amazing with their lovely hospitality and cute kashmiri accent ❤️ Will definately visit again

Excellent , ambience was literally good, food was awesome . Especially shikara ride was extremely good. Kaka , his responsibility towards guests is very much impressive. Rooms were spacious and heaters save us from cold winds. We really appreciate Meena Grup of House boats. Further trips we definitely recommend Meena grups

Overall experience at Meena house boat was excellent! We stayed for one night. Host took care of us very well. He was very flexible in providing service. Accommodation is very clean and food is very nice too. We were four couples and had complete house boat at our disposal. .

Excellent stay, support staff is very courteous and supportive. Food was great and rooms were very clean and spacious. It has the best view of dal lake. They provided an hour shikhara which was very clean . Overall a great place to stay. Will visit again.

Meena Group of Houseboats have given us a very warm experience with a very beautiful view of Dal lake. It gives you a very royal feel with a very spacious living room and dinning area. This house boat can accommodate 3-4 families which all the basic amenities. The room and bathrooms are very cleaned and have a good quality food.

The good: Location, view, coutesy of staff. The bad: The mattress were not of good quality. The ambience was dull. The curtains could not cover the whole window glass pane. They make you stay at a boat named cutty sark by saying that it's a meena house group boat only.

Good accomodation with typical heritage construction and nice hospitality, food served for dinner and breakfast was nice. Room had both cooling and heating sir conditioner which gave nice warmth during the cold weather. Good accessible location too.

Very nice and picturesque... Food was amazing People were kind hearted, considerate and thoughtful. The wood inside the boat was nicely carved. Loved it Scenery prolly could be better and can u make the rooms soundproof. But overall , Thank you Mina Group HouseBoats

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful staff ever, lovely and great first impression of our houseboat. Everything about the it was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.
