Great Guest House! The staff was very helpful and kind. The rooms were cleaned and freshened up daily. The morning breakfast was fabulous, with many options. I would highly recommend if you are staying in Karokol, you need to stay at the Green Yard.

We were a group of 18 travelling in Kyrgyzstan and stayed one night here on our trip . Very cozy and charming hotel. A bit away from main town but the charm of the hotel compensates for the distance. Rooms are spotless , toilets are a bit tight but adequate. The breakfast room was lovely and breakfast awesome. Staff served with loving care. The apple and fruit orchard behind the hotel was a bonus to stroll around. Front desk staff were helpful as well. They had a good selection of wines that you could buy, and the small craft store had some interesting stuff. A great stay in Karakol

Fantastic! Breakfast amazing! Best stay we had on our whole trip, a bit difficult to find and don’t be put off by the outside. I would come again. Staff helpful. And easy to fill up waters! 4 people staying, and really good experience all round.

I loved staying at Green Yard in Karakol. It has a lovely, peaceful atmosphere and was very clean. Beautiful garden with a swing and cosy alcoves. Breakfast was AMAZING! They served american style pancakes AND crepes. They have a lovely souvenir shop selling good quality handwork. Love that have sorting bins. Highly recommend!

Absolute gem of a place. It is family run and has just such a lovely feel about it. I was there as part of Mountains Ultra so we took up a lot of the rooms. The food was superb at breakfast and for our presentation dinner. The rooms are absolutely spotless - I have never known q hotel where you have to take your shoes off upon arrival (they provide indoor shoes) but this is because place is so clean. It's a short taxi ride to town centre and the taxis are so cheap and reception will order them. The area feels very safe and Karakol and nearby mountains are fantastic.

We stayed at Green Yard Hotel for three nights on a two week tour of Kyrgyzstan. The helpful reception staff spoke excellent English. We would be taken places by minibus so can’t comment on the convenience of its location. It is in a quiet setting though with a beautiful garden to relax in. The standard of the rooms and staff service was high. This hotel was well managed and ran smoothly. What really did stand out were the breakfasts which were laid out on the tables each morning. Attentive staff would then serve you freshly prepared hot food and drinks. There was always a good range of food, appetizing and well presented. Overall we a brilliant stay and can highly recommend this hotel.

What an amazingly delightful hotel! The best in Karakol, maybe all of Kyrgyzstan! 🇰🇬 Family run and operated, great pride in put into every detail of the operation. Clean, quiet, comfortable, amazing breakfasts and even dinner (some nights available). Nice courtyard to enjoy the sunshine or a warm and cozy lobby for a cold rainy or snowy day. Highly recommend this accommodation when in Karakol

Some things I liked about this hotel others not. On arrival it was insisted we remove our shoes and put on plastic type slippers and leave our shoes in racks in the reception area. As there was no lift we had to negotiate our luggage up slippy wooded stairs in ill fitting slippers- a bit dangerous I felt. I think they are trying to be Japanese style in Kyrgyzstan. Our room was simle but clean and comfortable. Our dinner and breakfast were of good quality. The reception staff were helpful but the restaurant staff lacked understanding of English and got totally confused over our drinks order. OK for one night.

This is an excellent guesthouse surrounded by so many fruits tress and plants. Their breakfast is superb better than any 5 stars hotel. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend whoever wish to stay in this place.
