The hotel itself is fine and in a great location, but the manager is not fit for the job. I had paid in full for five nights through *********** before I arrived and had a receipt to prove it, yet after checking in with reception staff was harassed by the manager to get a refund from booking com so I could pay him cash. I spent a couple of hours trying to help him out (not sure why I did this), but could not get a refund from them. For the rest of my stay every time the manager saw me he asked me where the cash was. He said the staff on reception should not have let me stay there. At one stage he told me that he and the staff would be having the money taken out of their wages. This was supposed to be an enjoyable stay in order to meet up with friends for Christmas, but was not very enjoyable at all.
