The island itself is quite expensive and you need to understand this when evaluating hotels. This hotel has a lot of accommodation options, from relatively cheap to expensive. All Kradan hotels are located on this side of the island, the Mali resort is the last one from the pier. Those. There are fewer people here than ever. On the other hand, it’s almost a kilometer along the beach to get to the pier (some hotels block the passage through their territory). A small modern rubber boat takes you from the pier to the hotel free of charge, with the name of the hotel on its side. It would be nice if the hotel sent a welcome letter explaining this point. Without knowing this, we were already planning to walk, because we did not see anyone who would meet us (we informed about the time of arrival in advance). It’s good that some person asked us what hotel we were staying at and started calling someone. He called an employee who was wearing a uniform with the name of our hotel and he showed us his boat. Speedboats to the island from other places arrive once a day, at 10:30-11:30 hours, depending on where from Phuket / Lanta or Langkawi / Koh Lipe. The bulk of the island's guests arrive by this means of transport, so the policy of the island's hotels regarding check-in as early as 14:00 is not entirely clear! It's the same at this hotel. But there is a toilet and shower near the reception, you can change clothes and use the hotel’s beach infrastructure. There are a lot of sun loungers, located along the entire beach ***** of the hotel. The hotel provides masks, snorkels, fins, kayaks and SUP boards free of charge. The hotel area is long, mostly shady, with plenty of places to hide from the sun and on the beach. We booked the cheapest room, it is the farthest from the reception, but on the border with the neighboring hotel, where the restaurant is praised (it, unfortunately, did not work). The room is not cramped, in a small building of 3 rooms. Its advantage is a large covered veranda, which provides good protection from the sun and rain. The room has everything you need - quiet air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, kettle, hairdryer. The shower room is spacious, but the water temperature was poorly regulated, the water was either cool or too hot, we were unable to adjust it. There is a problem with the toilet flushing; apparently there are problems in the sewer system and the water does not always drain well. Once I smelled mustiness and mold in the room; the room needed to be ventilated so that it would go away. There were few mosquitoes, but mosquito repellents are still desirable. Based on the reviews, I expected the worst, the room is very good and the shortcomings are not so critical. Breakfast is quite modest, there are almost no ready-made dishes, you can order scrambled eggs with whatever you like. Cold cuts. There is plenty of fruit, but no fresh vegetables. The restaurant in the hotel is a little expensive by local standards, we went to other hotels.

Stayed for 1 night! The rooms are simple! The hotel is friendly, there is a feeling that it is like one big family)))) the manager is cool! I recommend. Kardan is a super secluded place! Cool island!

I had a very good stay ! When I first saw the reviews online, I was scared.. but finally the experience turned out to be quite positive. Good points: The swimming pool is the best in the island, quite instagramable and near the sea. I also loved the open showers in the room, quite a good feeling. The staff was friendly and did not overcharge for anything. Their restaurant was also delicious, with a nice set up for dinner. The location perfect, not too far from the pier. Some common areas need some maintainable, it is true, but nothing too bad ;)

I really like this place. I will go again. I am very pleased. This is the best trip. The staff provided good service and the accommodation was clean.

ผมมานอนห้อง deluxe sea breeze (ไม่ติดทะเล,ที่พักอยู่ด้านหลัง) 1 คืน ราคาประมาณ 3,600 บาท พนักงานต้อนรับอัธยาศัยดี ยิ้มแย้มแจ่มใส ผมมาเที่ยวกับแฟน และเพื่อนอีก 1 คน มาถึงที่พักตอนประมาณเวลา 18:30 ผมกับแฟนนอนที่เดอ ธารา พอเก็บของเสร็จ(เจ้าหน้าที่มาเปิดแอร์ไว้ให้ แอร์ไม่ค่อยเย็นแต่ยังไม่มีน้ำรั่ว) แล้วออกไปส่งเพื่อนที่พักอีกที่หนึ่ง ราคาประมาณ 800 บาท ไปถึงที่พักของเพื่อน เจ้าหน้าที่มาต้อนรับด้วย welcome drink และแจ้งว่ามีปัญหาเรื่องห้องน้ำมีน้ำรั่ว ให้รอแก้ไขสักครู่หนึ่ง เพื่อนเลยตัดสินใจฝากของไว้แล้วออกไปรับประทานอาหารกันระหว่างรอแก้ไข วันนั้นผมไปเที่ยวเกาะต่างๆ ดำน้ำทั้งวัน แล้วเข้าเกาะมุกมาเพื่อรับประทานอาหาร และรีบพักผ่อนเพราะเหนื่อยมาทั้งวัน พอผมรับประทานอาหารเสร็จ ผมกลับห้องมาตอนประมาณ 20:40 มีน้ำแอร์หยดเต็มพื้นห้อง และ แอร์ไม่เย็น โทรแจ้งเจ้าหน้าที่ตอน 20:44 ได้รับคำตอบว่าเดี๋ยวจะมาดู เวลาผ่านไป 30 นาที ยังไม่มีเจ้าหน้าที่มาดูแอร์ให้ ผมเลยเดินไปแจ้งที่เคาร์เตอร์อีกครั้ง ถึงมีเจ้าหน้าที่เดินตามมาดูให้พร้อมผ้าเช็คเท้า 1 ผืน สรุปคือเจ้าหน้าที่กลุ่มแรกแก้ไขไม่ได้ มาเช็ดทำความสะอาดให้อย่างเดียว แล้วตามช่างอีกที ช่างซ่อมเสร็จเวลาประมาณ 22:00 , ระหว่างซ่อมผมก็นั่งๆนอนๆอยู่ในห้องพูดคุยสอบถามทั่วไป เจ้าหน้าที่พูดเหมือนว่าเรื่องแบบนี้เกิดขึ้นบ่อย เป็นปกติ ผมก็งงๆว่าผมต้องทำใจยอมรับให้คุ้นชินกับเรื่องแบบนี้หรอ, ระหว่างซ่อม แฟนผมก็พยายามติดต่อกับผู้จัดการไปด้วย เพราะเจ้าหน้าที่หน้างานไม่สามารถตอบคำถาม หรือ หาทางแก้ไขอื่นๆ ได้นอกจากรอซ่อม (เช่น ถ้าซ่อมไม่ได้จะให้ไปนอนไหนเพราะห้องอื่นๆเต็มหมดแล้ว รอซ่อมนานเป็นชั่วโมงแล้วมีชดเชยอะไรไหม) เจ้าหน้าที่หน้างานบอกให้โทรศัพท์คุยกับเบอร์ ********** ซึ่งยังไม่ใช่ผู้จัดการอยู่ดี ตอบคำถามไม่ได้เช่นกัน ได้แต่ย้อนถามมาว่าช่างยังไม่ไปดูหรอค่ะ(แฟนผมถามชื่อคนที่คุยด้วย เผื่อได้คุยกับผู้จัดการ แล้วจะได้เช็คว่าที่คุณแจ้งมาตรงกับนโยบายการให้บริการของโรงแรมไหม เจ้าหน้าที่ที่คุยด้วยบอกไม่สะดวกให้) แล้วก็โยนให้ไปคุยกับแอดมินเพจใน FB พอติดต่อไปใน FB ก็ไม่ได้ช่วยอะไรเลย นอกจากแค่ถามว่ามีช่างไปดูหรือยัง ช่างยังอยู่ในห้องไหม คือที่อยากได้จริงๆไม่ใช่การชดเชยหรือเงิน อยากได้ยินคือ “คำขอโทษ/ขออภัยในความไม่สะดวก และความรวดเร็วในการบริการแก้ไข” ซึ่งไม่ได้ยินและไม่ได้เห็นเลยตั้งแต่ระดับล่าง, โทรศัพท์คุย หรือ ทาง FB ในทางตรงกันข้ามห้องพักเพื่อนราคา 800 บาท ห้องน้ำรั่ว เค้ารีบขอโทษ จัดการซ่อม พอซ่อมไม่ได้ เค้าจัดการหาทางออกให้ หาที่พักอีกที่หนึ่งให้ทันที อยากแนะนำ 1. ผมกับแฟนเข้าใจว่ามันเหมือนอุบัติเหตุที่ไม่คาดคิด ทางโรงแรมก็ไม่อยากให้เกิด แต่เมื่อเกิดแล้วคุณมีวิธีการจัดการยังไง ผมรอครึ่งชั่วโมง ยังไม่มีใครมาเลย ต้องไปตามอีกรอบ ระหว่างซ่อมก็ให้นอนรอในห้องที่ซ่อมนั้นแหละ ปิดแอร์ สบายใจเลย, ความรวดเร็วในการแก้ไขไม่มีเลย 2. เจ้าหน้าที่ระดับล่างการบริการอาหาร เสิร์ฟ การต้อนรับพอใช้ครับ แต่เรื่องการจัดการแก้ไขปัญหาหน้างาน ช่องทางการร้องเรียน ช่องทางการติดต่อบุคคลที่มีอำนาจในการตัดสินใจเรื่องแบบนี้ คือ ไม่มีเลย, มีแต่โยนกันไปโยนกันมา 3. WiFi ห้องข้างหลังก็ไม่ถึง ต้องเดินมาเล่นที่โซนรับประทานอาหารถึงจะใช้ได้, ก๊อกน้ำ/ที่แขวนสายฉีด/ฝักบัว น่าจะต้องดูแลความแข็งแรงนะครับ มันโยกเยก ใกล้จะหลุด 4. ถ้าราคาแบบนี้แพงเกินการบริการครับ ทำเลที่ตั้งคุณอาจจะดีติดทะเล แต่การบริการแบบนี้ ผมไปนอนห้อง 800 ยังสบายใจกว่าครับ ขอบคุณครับ

Wonderful place! I didn’t like everything about the hotel, unfortunately, now in more detail - check-in is quick. On the day of departure there was no TV, no water, no water at all, the staff apparently was not prepared, they had no water in stock, for example, in a bucket to flush the toilet. Not to mention washing your hair. No one offered or cared about the guests.. Further, the hotel has as many as Two! kayak, one with holes, the second, supposedly intact, they took it for a ride, it turned out to be not entirely intact either... but they stubbornly take money, 100 baht for 1 hour. The kayaks are dirty; they rent them to people with garbage, water and sand inside. .. They asked for cleaning of the rooms themselves, to at least empty the trash cans and change the towels. One day we asked all day long to change the towel, everyone answered later, in the evening, and when they arrived late in the evening, they gave us towels, well, as they gave us, they were just lying next to the reception desk... Towels for the face and body... , the towels themselves were stained with brilliant green (apparently they were poorly washed from the previous guest), the sheets were also stained, by the way, the bed was not changed, during cleaning they simply did the cleaning with a broom and mop... In short, the staff are unhinged, sitting on their phones or scratching their tongues, a little unpleasant.. The kitchen is very dirty, we didn’t eat there. The janitors know their job, they clean and look after the area. Next - Dogs, they just don’t care, Nobody drives them away, well, apparently these are sacred animals, with fleas... They will lie down at the door of your room or by the pool, and wait for something.. By the way, regarding insects, usually in hotels take care of their guests, hang mosquito traps or light stinkers. This is not even close here.. Bring everything with you or you can buy it there in the store... The mullah sings three times a day, right here next to him with a megaphone, in the morning it’s early at 5 - 5.30, then the dog starts howling very loudly... Just kick-ass!!! If you do not strive for perfection in service, then you can book. If you are looking for cleanliness, the smell of Thailand from fresh sheets, care from your host, then this is not the hotel and it is not worth spending the money.

The positives ... Room nice and spacious and nice balcony and view of sea, but bed was so hard, and was a small double , we had to complain, they did change it for us, sounds very petty , but we stayed in other 5 other hotels on this visit , and never encountered a problem before. when arrived water pressure from shower was so weak, after talking to the lovely man on reception, (best member of staff on whole complex) they did sort, but tap on sink still just a dribble, but sadly the room was not cleaned well, dirty socks left behind bench/curtain, dust everywhere , bits left under bed. ... The pool area is lovely and relaxing view amazing over infinity pool. Sadly shower from beach so covered in sand, that after using actually have more sand on you than before, so lots of people putting sand into pool. The property has the potential to be excellent, but feel management are letting it down, quality of food at breakfast was the worse we had in all Thailand, we stayed at several hotels during this trip, and this was just bad and lazy , and it was not down to it being a small island, there is plenty available , in local restaurants and quality of food and what was available was excellent. no fresh fruit juice , just squash, just sugar no fruit, inedible, no fresh coffee available just instant, we asked and they said not possible. everything cold ,you have to put everything through toaster , no pastries , no poached eggs , just cold fried eggs, pancakes , awful french toast, all in metal tins prepared long before, you could order omelette, but came with degusting burger cheese cut up on top. (very poor quality) they are really cutting corners, most people that stayed when we did were bringing own fruit and condiments to breakfast , gardens could be beautiful , but gardeners just sweeping leaves , no maintenance, beach beds old and hard wood, not mattresses, all in all if I ever returned would opt for no breakfast and go to local restaurants, insist on proper king size bed, and make them thoroughly clean room .

I have been to this resort 3times. Previously I stayed in beachfront family room. I am super satisfied with the room. Just this time I stayed in a standard beachfront room. The bed is comfy, everything as good as previously except the bathroom is sticky. The grout is not properly cleaned. I don't feel comfortable to shower in there. Other than that the breakfast has super limited choices. 😔 I checked out from the hotel with unsatisfied feeling. Anyway, just a tip not to go koh mook during low season - jun-oct because not many choices for outside restaurant.

My parents really like it. The nearby restaurants are delicious. Sitting by the sea, the atmosphere is very good, quiet and very chill. The staff also pays attention to details. When they saw that my mother had leg pain, they changed the room to the lower floor for her. 🩷🩷❤️❤️❤️ I recommend you to come and stay.
