The Belvedere Himalayan Retreat, Mcleodganj, by Leisure Hotels

Many people talk about the facilities, which of course were fantastic but the key to this hotel was the staff. The views of the mountains was breathtaking. The rooms clean, spacious and beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and full of variety. The rooms, the breakfast, the reception all made this experience easy and enjoyable because of the service. Would definitely recommend and revisit in the future.

It was a great experience with belvedere. Great location, awesome food, quick service, well behaved and courteous staff ,special mention to Mr. Rajeev and Mr. Jitendra and chef Mr. Ajay Singh. Would recommend this to everyone. They made our Valentines day and wedding anniversary more special. Thank you so much.

We stayed at Belvedere Himalayan retreat for 4 days. It was excellent! Very friendly staff and excellent service. This place is located close to the bustling Mall Road and therefore you can simply walk down and explore all the shops nearby. One quite small but significant aspect which made a huge difference to our stay - they had drinking water bottles placed in the common area on each floor for guests!! I mean I have stayed in many hotels but have not seen this service. Instead of calling room service and waiting for them to deliver water bottles, you can simply goto the common area and take water bottles for your use . This really won me over as I always buy water bottles and lug them to my room when I stay in hotels. Another sensible thing was their breakfast. They had a comprehensive menu and you just had to order whatever you want. So instead of having a buffet with 50 items where most of the guests over eat and waste quite a bit, they make you order whatever you want and deliver it fresh. So we ordered idli, dosa and omelette from the menu and the service was quite fast. Maybe price is slightly on the higher side but then many hotels in this area are like this so I won’t make a big deal of this. Excellent location, superior service and I would come back again

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of McLeod Ganj’s bustling market, yet it manages to stay peaceful and insulated from the noise. The views from the property are absolutely stunning—arguably even better than those from Radisson Blu! The staff is exceptional—friendly, polite, and always ready to assist with a smile. The food was delicious and added to the overall great experience. For the quality of service, location, and breathtaking views, this place offers fantastic value for money. Highly recommended for anyone visiting McLeod Ganj! Beware of monkeys as they come in balcony looking for food and can enter the rooms too if doors left open!

The hotel, ambiance and service is top-notch. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The rooms were spacious and well maintained. Food was also delicious and buffet had many options for each person's liking. Thanks for a wonderful family vacation experience.

This is a comparatively new property with a good view and very helpful and polite staff. The food was good and the rooms were cozy, comfortable and neat. The location of the property is perfect if you want quiet and peace. At the same time, it is a 5 mins walk to the main market.
