We booked BOUGAIN VILLA - Luxury Homestay through a friend’s recommendation. Nestled in the hills of Kandy yet so close to the town (10 mins drive to KCC at most) BOUGAIN VILLA offers hospitality unappalled to none with the addition of making you feel “at home”. I travelled with my parents and I was offered the “Red Room” which they recommend as a triple, but four in a family can comfortably stay. The room was tastefully decorated with hand picked furniture and cozy comfortable linen. The room came complete with a kind sized bed and a single bed adjacent to it. There was also a sitting area that consisted of a comfortable couch set. The bathroom truly was my favourite with a super-sized bathtub that could easily accommodate even a really tall person. Bathroom too was tastefully decorated and there was even a little dressing table of sorts to leave my makeup on. From the moment we checked in at the BOUGAIN VILLA, we were greeted and made to feel welcome by Mrs. Wickramasinghe and her staff who were warm, kind and enthusiastic. They accommodated my Vegetarian food requests and made sure I did not miss out on the fantastic food they offered. The Hopper Night is a must try out and the as is the Breakfast Mushroom. The entire villa can comfortably accommodate up to 12 adults and it’s great for a fun family vacation. If you are tired of resort hotels and self proclaimed boutique properties give BOUGAIN VILLA Luxury HomeStay a shot.

We booked Bougain Villa at Rajapiihilla Mw., for dinner. 6 of us. The dinner was simple, and very tasty. We'll thought of menu by Mrs. Shyamalee Wickramasingha. We'll worth the money. The place is classy for small party's. I recommend it highly❤

We had such an amazing weekend at this lovely villa, the location is so close to the Kandy lake as well and we got the chance to explore Kandy with ease. Our rooms the Yellow and Red rooms were opposite each other so perfect for a family. The rooms have a double kings size and a single bed each so lots of space. A sitting area, planet of luggage space and a fridge was great to have in the room. The highlight was the amazing food we got, with the special hopper night! So much value for money as they have not spared anything to offer us the best and most tasty meals. The staff were on the ball at all times and were always there to help and anticipated our needs even before we ask! The views were amazing as well! Its such a wonderful place. We would recommend it for anyone visiting Kandy for a night or even a long stay. You wont regret staying here! We will be back!
