Liyya Water Villas

Our stay at Liyya Water Villas was short but delightful! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Susantha, who went out of his way to ensure our comfort. Dinner was a quiet affair, but the Sri Lankan food was some of the best we had on our entire trip—an authentic feast bursting with incredible flavors. Our room was impressively spacious, featuring a super comfy bed and a charming outdoor seating area where we were greeted by adorable local wildlife, including ducks and friendly dogs. The place had a wonderfully homely and safe vibe, making our stay truly special.

Liyya Villas is an amazing hotel in Dambulla. Very comfortable and great interior designed rooms. Delicious food and beverage. Really good and friendly staff with excellent service. Great location with beautiful view. Worth the price. Highly recommended ❤

Sigiriya and Dabulla is a very beautiful tourist paradise in Sri Lanka, my daughter, son and wife stayed at Liyya Water Villa for one day and I was very surprised when I saw this hotel while driving along a gravel road surrounded by forest. All the trees and plants at the hotel were growing with proper nutrition. Well maintained lake with tamed ducks gives a fabulous look. We were greeted at the entrance by the friendly receptionists Hashani and Nisansala, it is a extrem welcome. A highly maintained family room was provided for the family with two king size beds and luxurious ameities. Tremendous effort had taken by house keepers to maintained the washrooms in mint conditions and it is not an easy task with area provincial water but they have done, housekeeping staff were very friendly and well-trained, especially Ratnayake and Samanthi among them. The food was prepared and presented at a very high level and delicious, it is a very beautiful and high standard hotel, all this credit should go to the General Manager, Mr. Mahesh Dhammapathfor his bold leadership so I hereby give my respect to him. If anyone travels Sigiriya this is the no 01 hotel to stay to get plus plus experience which you never get it from anyone.... All the very best Mahesh and the team.

If you want to get lost in a wild ,best place to stay ,is liyya water villa. Given exceptional service in cleanliness and customer care.Lovely hotel and staff. English Breakfast was enjoyable and had a good selection with attentive staff. Kids were really in to the pool and had a plentiful joy.We,couples snaped from various location in hotel vicinity.Ecxperinced Ducks ,geese, and cocks as well as thier morning greeting sounds .My family was amused with the first sight and it was pleasure to see their happiness with the hotel Pleasure to meet Team liyya water villa ❤️Hope to enjoy again !

We had a wonderful experience there. The staff was very hospitable and there for every need of us. They are extremely efficient, pleasant, and helpful. We were so impressed and exceeded all our expectations with all the meals from appetizers to desserts. The hotel is well maintained. The room was clean, and perfect. We highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Liyya Water Villas. The staff were fantastic, greeting us warmly right from the entrance. The security personnel, front desk, room service, and restaurant staff were all exceptionally courteous and professional. The hotel itself is very calm, and our cabana room offered good privacy. The presence of friendly ducks around the property added a delightful touch to the experience. The food was excellent, with a good variety to choose from, and the swimming pool was also great. However, I feel there could be some additional activities available at the hotel. It would be nice to have options such as bicycle rides, a spa, gym, library, and maybe an indoor game area. Additionally, the rooms could be improved with a larger TV, and the bathroom would benefit from having a bathtub. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and we look forward to seeing these enhancements in the future.

The little cottages by the side of a little lake occupied by little creatures like ducks was the first thing that made me decide on the venue. The warmest welcome and the comfy surrounding helped us settle down really fast. The swing by the lake and the narrow path on which my little girl rode her bicycle gave the perfect entertainment for her. A stay is never complete without a splash in the pool. The pool has a picturesque setting and ideal for perfect pictures. If looking for a serene place to relax and calm down from the chaotic busy schedules, this is an idea destination!!!

This place is great if you like to just relax for a second and get out of always being on your phone, it's not that you can't go online but the signal will drop from time to time so you can enjoy the world in front of you more. They have a wide range of food in their menu, rooms look great and have some good views, people are friendly and always willing to help out. Overall I'd say this is a great escape from the daily work.
