Id rate this as a 3 star hotel as facilities limited, but it was very clean and beds were super comfy. All staff are lovely and very helpful. Pool area is small and seating limited, not the place to chill tbh. Acoustics mean rooms are noises as walls thin. We were woke. At 6am by children in and outside. We were b&b and breakfast very limited and not very appetising. No yogurt but fresh fruit, Asan selection, eggs, cereal and toast. Its conveniently located for short ride in to town. Town in one road, bars, cafes etc.

We booked this place as a two day stop over while travelling in this part of Thailand. We read a few reviews and it looked okay. This is a small hotel which backs onto the river Kwai. There is a dining terrace down near the river ( not always ideal on the evenings when the mosquitoes are out in force) where they have fish food so that you can feed the very many fishes. The gardens are immaculately kept and very pretty indeed. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The beds and pillows are very firm but that seems to be the way in most of Thailand. This is a quiet hotel without much around it although there is a restaurant on site with a good selection of food (all Thai) which was well cooked. In summery, if you are looking for a one or two night stop over while travelling visiting the bridge over the river Kwai and surround area you wont be disappointed with Princess River Kwai Hotel.

The view is beautiful, right on the river. Overall lovely stay, the rooms are big and nice, very clean. Bathroom is good size and with all the things you need like toiletries etc. The hotel was very accommodating as we were family of 4 with 2 very young children so had a cot and a mattress on the floor and still plenty of room for us, bags etc. the balcony was a good size and we went in the pool a few times which was also nice, a little cold at first but lovely. The location of the hotel was a little far from everything, no shop near by and need to take taxi everywhere (which isn’t a problem), reception staff are very lovely and book cars for you. The restaurant is average, free breakfast is good, with plenty of choice or hot and cold food, from cereal, bread to rice or noodle dishes. We did eat at the restaurant twice in the evenings for convenience, and it was fine, but not amazing. The portions were quite small, for a mid-high cost and could do with more flavour. Drinks also weren’t the cheapest. Overall a lovely stay.

Amazing small hotel on the river Kaew. We had a wonderful room with river view. Bathroom is spotless and spacious. Beds are very comfy. Housekeeping is very good. Food here are outstanding, super delicious. Breakfast is very tasty with lots of variety. Swimming Pool although small in size must be the nicest,most beautiful & stunning pool I have ever seen. Staff at the Restaurant are all excellent , fantastic and kind. We would definitely come back ! Thank you all we are very happy with our stay! 10 out of 10

Brilliant hotel on the River Kwai , rooms exceptionally clean and comfortable bed The staff give 100% and are very friendly The gardens are beautiful at night is like a enchanted garden all lit up Infinity pool looking over the River Kwai but limited sun beds Bridge over the River Kwai only a short distance away also ideal for Elephant sanctuary and waterfalls Food & Drinks at the hotel are very reasonable You won't be disappointed with this Hotel

The swimming pool and the deck on the river Kwai is great! What a view! Breakfast are awesome too. Rooms and bed very comfortable. I recommend this place although the location is a bit far from "downtown"

This is an excellent, authentic Thai style resort. Located on the banks of the river a short distance to the town so transportation is necessary. Appealing rooms with modern bathrooms, impeccably clean, comfy bed. Breakfast is very typical of Thai resort, excellent for Thai, maybe not the same for western people. Staff are friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay.
