Champa Lodge

很田園，晚上不熱，屋內沒有空調，有風扇，吹着風扇睡覺很舒服，旅館旁邊就是貢布河，可以自己划船，很愜意，很多歐美旅客在此居住。來次度假很值得！希望我的評價可以幫到你們！

Champa Lodge is nestled right on the river in Kampot and the sun sets right over the surrounding mountains and river. It is truly gorgeous. The garden is lush and spectacular, the food is as good as you can find in Kampot, the room +staff were A+

Very overpriced, poorly maintained and neglected place. I paid 60 British pounds for a 2 day stay in the Boathouse. The property is right on the river and has splendid views but it is well past its best and in need of renovation. There is no aircon and no fridge, the outside bed mattress was missing and pillows were very dirty. The windows are slatted and have no mosquito meshing so you will be eaten alive. The whole building itself was very dirty and unattractive and nothing like the pictures. The staff were all asleep when I arrived in the public areas and totally disinterested. The worst thing was the fact that there was a dead dog in the river right beneath my balcony by the pontoon. It had probably been there for a few days. I alerted the manager and he pushed it away with a stick. 5 minutes later it was there again. Apart from the dead dog there were lots of plastic bottles in the river near my room. I booked this place for my birthday and it was very disappointing indeed. I definitely wouldn't go back. All the positive reviews about this place and pictures are misleading. "Dead dog" pretty much sums up the whole place. Avoid!

I found the Champa Lodge a year ago and have stayed here on every visit to Kampot since - This is my 4th stay! The rooms are comfortable and affordable, the food is good (get the sautéed potatoes!) and there is an excellent selection of Belgian beers. Also, it has the best location on the river - convenient for kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding, and a beautiful view across the river.

Beautiful location. We stayed in the Boat Lodge that overlooks the water. Unfortunately the night we stayed there was a huge party with a DJ at the property next door. Their music went until 2am and the whole bungalow was shaking because of the bass. Even with noise cancelling headphones in we could not sleep. We messaged the property and they never replied. There was no apology or acknowledgment in the morning. Really disappointing.

Beautiful, relaxed spot! 4 houses with each 2 or 3 bedrooms. Nice little private beach in lush greenery!! All nicely maintained.Great for kajaking too. The owner is American and really friendly and hospitable! Also great for team retreats. We will be back for sure!
