I recently stayed at satra wayanad near Kalpetta and had a wonderful experience. The location is ideal—close enough to the town for easy access but nestled in a peaceful and serene environment, perfect for relaxation.
The property itself is well-maintained, offering clean and comfortable rooms at reasonable rates, making it great value for money. The facilities were well-equipped, and the staff was courteous and always ready to assist.

The stay was very pleasant. The rooms looked just like the photos, and the hospitality was really good. Another added benefit was that, there was sufficient parking, which is not common in wayanad.

The location of this hotel is good. Many tourist spots are nearby ~15 km. The property is very clean, parking space is also sufficient, the staffs are very cordial and helpful. Few drawbacks are, there is not lift facility, so people staying on 2nd floor specially the elderly ones will have some trouble, but i think one can request for the ground floor or 1st floor stay also. The other problem is the food availability, as there is no restaurant on this property, and in that street or in walkable distance good restaurants are not present. Around 1-2km distance, you can definitely find good food, or you can order through swiggy or zomatto.

We had a pleasant stay at satara wayanad. The rooms were spacious, clean, and hygienic, making it a comfortable retreat. The service was excellent, with attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel is located in a quiet area with minimal noise, providing a peaceful environment to relax. There is limited parking available, but enough for guests. Though the hotel does not have an in-house restaurant the city’s food options are just a short distance away. The hotel is about 2 km from the kalpetta market and conveniently located near karlad lake, which is perfect for a short drive. While there is no lift, the staff ensures a smooth experience by assisting with luggage. Overall, satara wayanad is a great place for a quiet, comfortable stay, and i highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
