Absolutely the best place to stay! Beautifully restored and decorated but updated with any amenity you could want. Our room had a great view of the Chihuly glass sculpture at the art institute, right next door, and a large tub with jets. We ordered the breakfast and we were delighted when it was delivered to our room exactly at 9 am. Excellent breakfast!

This was our second time staying here. We stayed in Room 4 which was nice. The food was good as always. We brought another couple that had never been to a B&B before. Their room #5 was not as nice but they paid more. We found out that the price increases with more rooms that are booked for the same night. Lesson learned - book with one card next time!

Room #7 Enjoyed our stay at Kalamazoo house. Room 7 was a great value! very spacious, Comfy bed, great jetted tub, yummy breakfast. liked the guest robes in the bathroom. looks like the gardens will be beautiful this summer. Easy walk to kazoo state theater. would recommend to anyone going to downtown kalamazoo.

Great place to stay in downtown Kalamazoo. I was there for one night and wanted to walk to dinner and a concert and this was a perfect spot to stay. The staff greeted me when I arrived and showed me all the areas of the home that I needed to know about. They had multiple recommendations for dinner and I signed up for breakfast the next morning (which was delicious!). The room had plenty of space and the bathroom was very nice with a great shower/jetted tub. I don't like staying places that only have streaming options for TV, but I understand why you do it and wasn't in the room long enough for it to really be an issue. Make sure that you check which floor your room is on. If my parents were to stay here, they would have had trouble navigating the winding staircase to the 3rd floor rooms. I would very, very much prefer the Kalamazoo House to any national hotel chain. The price is better and the service and hospitality is MUCH better. Support local!

My husband and I enjoyed staying at the Kalamazoo house. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Also the room we stayed in was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family members.

My wife and I stayed here and absolutely loved our stay. We got to experience two of their rooms, both clean, well stocked and just what we needed to rest and enjoy a weekend in Kalamazoo. Whether you’re an out of state traveler, a nearby regional traveler I highly recommend making Kalamazoo House a part of your next visit. Great food, great rooms, and great service! All around five stars.

The lovely Kalamazoo House is next door to the Kalamazoo Institute of Art where I take ceramics classes. I treat myself to a night, and a bath, at KH every 6 weeks or so. I usually stay in Holland room as the leather loveseat is so comfortable, the soaking tub is wonderful and the queen bed sleeps very well. This last stay was in room Mackinac with a lovely jetted tub and king bed. The included gourmet breakfast always tops off the stay. Amy and Jeff are the friendly hosts who insure the stay is memorable. I always look forward to my nights at the Kalamazoo House!

We just love The Kalamazoo House! This was our second stay and we stayed for 3 nights. We had the master suite on the second floor and it was beautiful! The entire house is gorgeous and the historic touches in the woodwork and chandeliers is truly beautiful! Our room had a spa tub that was lovely the the towels were the softest ever! We also loved the giant bed, we slept like babies the entire time! Breakfast each morning was amazing and the extra fee to have it delivered to your room is worth it! Amy and Jeff are also amazing! They made us feel at home everyday and their customer service was stellar! The location is also great if you want to check out the art institute, go downtown, to the library, and even the KP Cinema! You might think that you want to stay at another Bed and Breakfast, but this is definitely the best one in Kalamazoo! We will be back again in March!

Jeff and Amy have an AMAZING bed and breakfast! They are a very kind, fun and charming couple. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary in their Grand Rapids room with a large Jacuzzi tub. Their facility is spotless and beautiful - inside and out! Our breakfasts were incredible. Our favorites were the pecan French toast, goat cheese spinach and artichoke quiche, and the biscuit bake with bacon. The evening snacks were great as well. Amy recommended some fabulous restaurants for us. We will DEFINITELY visit again, and hope to see Mr. Prince, the outdoor visiting cat, when we return. ❤️
