Visited the premises last weekend, it’s March so we didn’t have the chance to try the pools, we stayed at a beautiful bungalow, a double and a single bed plus bathroom with dresser on ground floor plus double bed with dresser on top floor, the high ceiling gave the impression that the room was even bigger so thumbs up for that. It did seem it needed a bit of care yet as I said before it’s still March, perhaps they plan to redecorate or renovate the rooms during April, some form of art would give the rooms even more character. Nearby the rooms there is a playground as well as a basketball/football court which is great for kids of all ages. Breakfast was great, I ended up playing with my food, I created dako salad which consists of chopped tomato, a kind of bread plus feta cheese, I also had broccoli, (you don’t usually find this in a breakfast buffet so bravo), there was even apaki which is a special cold cut meat (apaki is how we call it in Crete, I am sure in the Peloponnese it’s called sth else, apologies for missing this :-) There is a beautiful promenade for walking and jogging by the sea, I could spend hours and hours there, seems like an excellent place for swimming, too. The hotel is not situated down town Kalamata, yet it’s not far away. We would definitely revisit. Thanks for the hospitality!
