Ponz Hotel

What a gorgeous hotel. Superb location. Friendly staff. Our room was big and kept lovely and clean. We had half board and the food was traditional and really good. I’m fussy but found something every day to eat. The staff at breakfast and Dinner were really lovely. The pool is probably the warmest we have used in Turkey. They had a great lifeguard who chatted to people around the pool. A really nice lad. The sea is a five minute walk down the hill, and you are then on the promenade with a selection of restaurants. The view from the roof of the hotel is 360* and totally awesome.

Things started off badly with a toilet in the bathroom of one room that was not secured to the floor in any way. The other room the air conditioning was not operational. The information pack in the room on arrival stated different prices to what you got charged in the hotel. Had a meeting with the manager to sort all this out and the areas of concern were corrected. Not the best atmosphere in the hotel and this got worse the day before we were due to leave when we were thrown out a day early when my documents clearly stated the following day as departure. Travelled many places with LOVE HOLIDAYS but have never been treated in this manner. Get a life and yes you ruined our holiday thank you THE PONZ.

We have just had a great week stay at Ponz hotel. It is in the most perfect location! 2 minutes walk down onto ladies beach which have the most incredible restaurants all along the beach with incredible sunset every night. The hotel staff are all so lovely and always so friendly and helpful. My boyfriend came for some dental work and they were just brilliant. The room is massive with a balcony, all rooms look over the pool. Outside the door is a beautiful sunset every day. A very good shop just along from the hotel with everything you could possibly need. A lovely walk into the main Kusadasi centrum town but if walking isn’t your thing the bus stops right by the hotel or taxi is just 200 lira (about £5) We just did bed and breakfast as we wanted to go to the beach restaurant in the evening. Breakfast is a little limited so this could be a bit more varied even if just by adding fresh omelettes/scrambled egg and toast maybe? But it was ok. We would 100% come back here again and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, great for what we wanted. Location was just perfect for us and the pool had sun all day long. Pool area clean, water crystal clear and a great lifeguard onsite. Highly recommend. Thank you Ponz for a great stay. Danny & Sam

Went to this hotel for a quite peaceful week needed a nice relaxing holiday we were having a few relaxing day until unfortunately a bus load of 8/9 year old boys and their teachers came to stay at the hotel for the weekend. They took over all sun beds and diving into the pool they were so noisy we had to leave the pool. So we went to reception and a young receptionist came to speak to us told us it was out of their control and their was nothing they could do about it. We asked for compensation as we had to leave the hotel but she wasn’t nice to us and told us to take it up with Loveholidays the crowd we booked with So before u decide to book this hotel make sure u ring them to check their bookings We had to leave at our own expense but i guarantee you I won’t be recommending this hotel to anyone who wants a peaceful relaxing holidays. We heard from guests we met there that the boys were meant to be out most of Saturday but they were back by 2pm and took over the pool area again Never 👎 go back to that hotel again Management couldn’t care less about the customers. Shame on them

Nice room and that's about it!. Worst thing is brochure states non smoking hotel but that's a total lie! Ashtrays in the rooms and smoking at the restaurant tables whilst you eat! Food is all same every day. Only drink is tea coffee or water. Anything else you pay for. Upset and cross as booked hotel cos of no smoking policy but it's a total breach of the description in the brochure!

The location being so close to the beach was amazing. The staff are very helpful when you need anything they are happy to oblige. Our room was cleaned everyday, fresh towels etc. Hoping the housekeeping staff got the tip I left for them. The lift was very slow and can only hold a certain weight capacity but with being on the 5th floor we had no choice but to wait for it. Wifi not so good. Please feed the dogs and be nice to them🐶
